The present invention relates to fire-resistant pipe couplings (100) for connecting together two plain-ended pipes in a fluid-tight manner. The pipe coupling (100) comprises: a tubular casing comprising: an outer tubular casing (102); and an inner tubular casing (104), fitting entirely inside the outer casing (102); a tubular sealing gasket (106) disposed within the inner tubular casing (104); and means (116) for tensioning the casing around the gasket (106). The casing further comprises: at least one layer of fire-resistant material (124) disposed between the inner (104) and outer (102) casings; and at least one layer of thermally-insulating material (128) disposed between the tubular sealing gasket (106) and the inner casing (104), whereby the outer casing (102) and tubular sealing gasket (106) are thermally insulated from one another.

Pipe coupling with dynamic axial restraint system

A pipe coupling for connecting together the ends of two pipes including a tubular casing for fitting around a pipe; tensioning means for tightening the casing around the outer surface of the pipe; and a dynamic axial restraint system comprising at least one resilient gripping ring mounted within the casing for gripping the outer surface of the pipe. The gripping ring includes an outer surface engaging with an inner surface of the casing and adapted to roll against the inner surface of the casing upon axial loading of the pipe; and an inner gripping surface for engaging the outer surface of the pipe. The gripping surface of the resilient gripping ring is adapted such that upon rolling of the outer surface against the inner surface of the tubular casing, the area of the gripping surface in contact with the pipe increases.

FITTING STRUCTURE FOR SUPPLY OF GAS
20180003336 · 2018-01-04 ·

A fitting structure is provided for supply of gas and connectable between an air supply tube in the form of a hose or a plastic pipe and an air outlet of an air compressor and includes a fitting and a thermal insulation tube. The fitting includes a first coupling opening connectable with the air outlet of the air compressor and a second coupling opening connectable with the air supply tube. The thermal insulation tube has a first end part fixed inside the second coupling opening of the fitting and a second end part extending outside the second coupling opening such that a portion of the thermal insulation tube that extends outside the second coupling opening is received in the interior of the air supply tube. High-temperature air from the air compressor is conducted through the thermal insulation tube into the air supply tube without being directly applied to the fitting.

Device for connection of two double-wall pipes and hydrogen line including said connection device

A device for connection of double-wall pipes including an interior connection system connecting the first and second interior pipes and an exterior connection system including a first part that cooperates with an end section of the first exterior pipe and a second part that cooperates with an end section of the second exterior pipe. The exterior connection system is configured so that at a first temperature at least one of the first and second parts exerts a contact force on the end section of the corresponding first or second exterior pipe greater than at a second temperature higher than the first temperature.

Wire Bonder and Gas Pipe Connector Therefor

A connector for connecting a gas pipe and a heating component of a wire bonder includes a first connection end for connecting the connector to the heating component, and a second connection end for connecting the connector to the gas pipe. A heat-insulation tube is connected between the first connection end and the second connection end. The heat-insulation tube is made of a heat-insulation material and configured to insulate or reduce heat transfer between the first connection end and the second connection end. The connector may further include a first fastening sleeve for fastening the connection between the first connection end and the heat-insulation tube, and a second fastening sleeve for fastening the connection between the second connection end and the heat-insulation tube.

PIPE APPARATUS, COUPLING DEVICES, AND METHODS

Pipe apparatus can include a coupling device with a seal circumscribing a central axis. The seal further includes a first circumferential pocket at least partially defined by a first and second circumferential flange. A fluid guide device positioned at least partially within the first circumferential pocket includes a plurality of segments that are radially arranged to circumscribe the central axis. The fluid guide device at least partially defines a fluid path. Methods can include using the coupling device to couple a first end portion of a first pipe segment to a second end portion of a second pipe segment. Methods of using the pipe apparatus can include passing fluid through the fluid path to cool the seal.
