TRANSPORT CONTAINER
A transport container for helium, having an inner container for receiving helium, a thermal shield actively coolable with the aid of a cryogenic liquid and in which the inner container is accommodated, an outer container in which the thermal shield and inner container are accommodated, and a carrying ring provided on the thermal shield. The inner container is suspended from the carrying ring with the aid of first suspension rods, wherein the carrying ring is suspended from the outer container with the aid of second suspension rods, wherein at least one of the first suspension rods has a first spring device and at least one of the second suspension devices has a second spring device in order to ensure a spring pretension of the first suspension rods and the second suspension rods for different heat expansions of the inner container and the thermal shield.
CRYOGENIC CONTAINER WITH THERMAL BRIDGE SWITCH
A cryogenic container, in particular a hydrogen container, including an inner container and an outer container enclosing the inner container, with a cooling layer being arranged between the inner container and the outer container, the cooling layer enveloping the inner container at least partially and being insulated with respect to both the inner container and the outer container, with a removal line being routed through the inner container as well as through the cooling layer and the outer container, thereby passing through them, where the device comprises a thermal bridge switch configured to establish a contact between the cooling layer and the removal line in a closed position so as to form a thermal bridge and further configured to separate the cooling layer from the removal line in an opened position so as to eliminate the thermal bridge.
Vacuum Insulated Articles With Reflective Material Enhancement
Provided are vacuum-insulated articles that comprise an evacuated space disposed between first and second walls and a reflective material disposed within the evacuated space. Also provided are methods of fabricating such articles.
INTEGRATED LIQUEFIED HYDROGEN FUEL TANK SYSTEM FOR SHIPS WITH ENHANCED SUPPORT STRUCTURE, BAFFLE PLATES, AND VAPOR-COOLED INSULATION SHIELD
The present invention includes an inner tank in which cryogenic liquid is stored; a vapor-cooled shield enclosing the inner tank from the outside, one end of a plurality of connection parts being connected to the vapor-cooled shield and the other end being connected to the inner tank; a pipe member provided outside the vapor-cooled shield; and an outer tank enclosing the pipe member from the outside. The pipe member insulates the inner tank by hydrogen that is vaporized and discharged.
