Pressure recipient
A pressure recipient or vessel (1) has a polymeric impermeable liner (2) and a reinforcing layer (4) of a composite material externally formed around the impermeable liner (2), as well as at least one boss (5) coupled to the impermeable liner (2) and to the reinforcing layer (4) to provide an opening (6) of the pressure vessel (1). The impermeable liner (2) is joined to the boss (5) by a co-molded polymer-metal annular connection zone (7).
PIPE CONTAINMENT SYSTEM FOR SHIPS WITH SPACING GUIDE
An assembly for storing and transporting compressed fluid, such as compressed natural gas, that includes a plurality of hexagonally stacked pipe stored in a cargo hold in or on a vessel, that includes a lower support, side supports and a forcing mechanism that presses strongly down on the pipes so that they cannot move relative to themselves or the vessel on which they are placed. The friction between the pipes causes the plurality of pipes to act as part of the vessel in terms of its structure. The stacked pipe is supported by a plurality of spacers, such as convex side up pipe segments for maintaining a gap between adjacent ones of said plurality of pipes in a same row in said stacked pipe. A load equalizer may be located above the plurality of pipes for distributing the compressive force from the forcing mechanism.
Hydrogen storage tank
A hydrogen storage tank includes a liner layer to store hydrogen and a carbon fiber reinforced plastic layer disposed outside the liner layer. The liner layer is formed from a low-alloy steel, and the carbon fiber forming the carbon fiber reinforced plastic layer is a pitch based carbon fiber.
COMPOSITE, PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF, USE OF SAID MATERIAL AND ARTICLES COMPRISING THE SAID MATERIAL
The present invention refers to a composite material that comprises carbon fiber or sheet made from polyacrylonitrile (PAN) or lignin being indicated for the manufacture of several articles such as high resistance pressure cylinder. Said material presents several advantages such as, for example, to provide improved screening to the articles that comprise it.
The referred composite comprises: a first inner layer of polytetrafluorethylene, covered by a second layer of high-density polyethylene, adhered to a third layer of composite containing carbon fiber or sheet made from polyacrylonitrile (PAN) or lignin immersed in cured epoxy resin from a polymeric matrix and a hardener; and a fourth outer layer of composite, comprising aramid fiber impregnated with a dilating fluid and cured epoxy resin from a polymeric matrix and a hardener.
Pressure vessel system
The invention relates to a pressure vessel system comprising a pressure vessel for storing a gas under pressure, at a potential leakage interface of the pressure vessel, one or more gas sensitive parts configured to undergo a modification when the gas passes along the potential leakage interface; said leakage interface being an interface within the pressure vessel; and one or more detection modules configured to detect a modification of the one or more gas sensitive parts. The invention also relates to a connection assembly comprising a first connection part and a second connection part, said first and second connection part being configured to realize a gas tight connection; one or more gas sensitive parts arranged at a connection interface between the first connection part and the second connection part, and one or more detection modules configured to detect a modification of the one or more gas sensitive parts.
BULK METALLIC GLASS PRESSURE VESSELS
A pressure vessel containing a main body with at least one opening. The pressure vessel is made from a BMG material. The pressure vessel may contain an additional part such as a neck, a liner, a rib, a lattice, a fin, and a diaphragm. The pressure vessel may be free of a welded joint in entirety. The pressure vessel may contain multiple parts in the main body, each of which is free of a welded joint. The pressure vessel may be made through thermoplastic forming.
CNG Storage Tank System with Secondary Containment and Monitoring
A CNG storage tank system with secondary containment and monitoring, such that any leaks from a primary containment tank are initially contained within a secondary containment tank, detected by a CNG sensing system in communication with a monitoring station, such that leaked CNG in the form of methane can be safely and controllably vented to the atmosphere or into CNG capture tanks. In addition, a tank expansion detection system may be employed to detect excessive expansion of the primary containment tank.
Pipe containment system for ships with spacing guide

The friction between the pipes causes the plurality of pipes to act as part of the vessel in terms of its structure. The stacked pipe is supported by a plurality of spacers, such as convex side up pipe segments for maintaining a gap between adjacent ones of said plurality of pipes in a same row in said stacked pipe. A load equalizer may be located above the plurality of pipes for distributing the compressive force from the forcing mechanism.
PRESSURE CONTAINER
A pressure container includes a liner filled with gas inside, a reinforcement layer that is formed in contact with the outer surface of the liner by using a fiber reinforced resin and covers the liner from the outside, and a cap attached to the liner. The cap is formed into an annular shape, and includes a plurality of cap bodies that have engagement portions projecting toward the reinforcement layer and are arranged with intervals in a circumferential direction, and bridge portions that connect, in the circumferential direction, the cap bodies adjacent in the circumferential direction. The cap is attached to the liner in a state in which the bridge portions are deformed and the engagement portions of the plurality of cap bodies are engaged with the reinforcement layer.
