The system further comprises a forward path arranged for guiding a supply pipe cooling media from the hydrogen center enclosure towards the dispenser, and a return path arranged for guiding at least a fraction of the supply pipe cooling media back to the hydrogen center enclosure, where at least one of the forward and return paths are thermally connected with the cooling system.
HYDROGEN GAS SUPPLY DEVICE
To provide a hydrogen gas supply device with which pressure resistance of a filter that catches sulfur components contained in a hydrogen gas is improved. A hydrogen gas supply device for a hydrogen station includes a compression portion that compresses a hydrogen gas by reciprocating motion of a piston, in which a piston ring containing sulfur components is mounted on the piston, a filter arranged on the downstream side of the compression portion, the filter that catches sulfur components contained in the hydrogen gas, and a first pipe connecting the compression portion and the filter. The filter includes an element portion having activated carbon onto which the sulfur components contained in the hydrogen gas are absorbable, and a steel housing portion that houses the element portion, in which a gas introduction passage that communicates with the first pipe and guides the hydrogen gas to the element portion is formed.
SUBCOOLED CYROGENIC STORAGE AND TRANSPORT OF VOLATILE GASES
A system and method of operation is described wherein a cryogenic liquid transport fluid is used as in a thermal cascade with at least one volatile gas. The volatile gas in the liquid state enables transport thereof. In operating this system, the liquid volatile gas is maintained at a temperature below its boiling point, below its flash point, but above its freezing point.
Hydrogen gas filling method and hydrogen gas filling device
According to one aspect of the present invention, a hydrogen gas filling method includes receiving, from a vehicle equipped with a tank to be filled with hydrogen gas and powered by the hydrogen gas, a temperature of the tank before a start of filling; calculating a difference between a preset maximum temperature and the temperature of the tank; calculating a filling speed of the hydrogen gas depending on the difference; and filling the hydrogen gas from an accumulator in which the hydrogen gas is accumulated into the tank at the filling speed calculated via a measuring machine.
FILLING STATION FOR SUPPLYING A PLURALITY OF VEHICLES WITH A GAS CONTAINING HYDROGEN
A filling station for supplying vehicles with gas containing hydrogen comprises: a storage unit comprising high pressure gas containers; a compression unit comprising compressors for increasing the pressure of gas for the storage unit; and a supply unit comprising a supply device for supplying a vehicle; a storage circuit for circulating gas from the compression unit to the storage unit; and a filling circuit for circulating gas from the storage unit to the compression unit. The storage circuit comprises a storage pipe network connecting each compressor to each container and at least one storage distributor for selectively associating the compressors and the containers. The filling circuit includes a filling pipe network connecting each container with each compressor and a filling distributor for selectively associating the containers and the compressors. The station further includes control means for controlling the storage and filling distributors.
DEFUEL PRIORITY PANEL
Systems and methods are provided for a combined defuel and priority panel for a fueling station. The defuel and priority panel is configured to defuel a compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle and direct the defueled gas to fuel other CNG vehicles at the panel fueling and defueling site. The defuel and priority panel is also configured to store defueled gas in defuel storage tanks, which can then be used to later fuel CNG vehicles.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FILLING TANKS
Device and method for filling pressurized-gas tanks, comprising a fluid transfer circuit provided with an upstream end intended to be connected to a source of gas and at least two parallel downstream ends intended to be connected to distinct tanks that are to be filled, the transfer circuit comprising a temperature regulating member for regulating the temperature of the gas transferred from the source towards the downstream ends, the gas temperature regulating member being positioned in the transfer circuit upstream of the at least two downstream ends, which means to say that the gas temperature regulating member is common to the at least two downstream ends, characterized in that the at least two downstream ends of the circuit each comprise a respective control member for controlling the flow rate and/or the pressure of the transferred gas and configured to control the flow rate and/or the pressure in each of the downstream ends independently.
