VEHICLE LIGHT ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A MOVABLE LIGHT SIGNATURE MEMBER
A vehicle light assembly including one or more movable light signature members that are selectively translated from a first position partially or wholly in front of conventional light units (low beams, high beams, taillights, etc.) to a second position away from the light units when the light units are in use. Thus, for example, the movable light signature member(s) can include one or more LEDs or the like that are illuminated to act as daytime running lights, turn signal indicators, accessory lights, etc. when they are disposed in front of the light units and when the low beams, high beams, or taillights are not in use. This provides the desired light signature. When the low beams, high beams, or taillights are in use, the movable light signature member(s) are translated out of the way, such that the light units are visible adjacent to and/or between the movable light signature member(s).

Lamp unit and power supply attachment
A lamp unit includes: a light emitting element; a reflector that reflects light emitted from the light emitting element toward a unit front; and a heat sink that supports the light emitting element and the reflector, in which a power supply attachment for supplying power to the light emitting element is attached to the heat sink, the power supply attachment is fastened to the heat sink at two left and right positions of the power supply attachment, and a connector portion of the power supply attachment is formed inside two left and right fastening positions so as to extend to a unit rear side relative to a rear end position of the reflector.
REFLECTION-TYPE HEADLAMP MODULE, HEADLAMP MODULE, HEADLAMP AND VEHICLE
A reflection-type headlamp module, comprising a light source, a light-converging element, a reflecting element and a lens, wherein the light-converging element is suitable for converging light rays emitted by the light source and projecting the light rays; and the reflecting element is arranged on a light-emergent light path of the light-converging element, and is suitable for reflecting, to the lens, the light rays emitted by the light source and projecting the light rays via the lens to form an illuminating light pattern. The reflecting element of the headlamp module changes the propagation direction of light rays, so that the front and rear diameter of the module is greatly reduced. In addition, high-beam light and low-beam light can be switched quickly and noiselessly, preventing the influence of a high-beam light path and a low-beam light path on each other. Further disclosed are a headlamp and a vehicle using the headlamp.
Exterior Lighting
Light-based devices may be provided that emit light. The light-based devices may be incorporated into systems such as vehicles. The light-based devices may include light sources such as light-emitting diodes and lasers. Mirrors may be used to collimate light from the light sources. Light modulators may be used to pattern light from the light sources. The light sources may include light sources of different colors. Arrays of pixels may be used to provide dynamically varying patterns of emitted light. A light source may produce light that is diffracted by an array of diffractive elements on a window. Mechanical and electrical shutters may obscure light sources, mirrors, and light-emitting components mounted on windows.

Vehicle lighting unit
A vehicle lighting unit includes: a heat sink (12); a light emitting element disposed in the heat sink (12); and a reflector that is disposed above the light emitting element, and reflects emitted light emitted forward from the light emitting element. The heat sink (12) includes a base portion (22) for disposing the light emitting element on a pedestal portion (21); and a fin portion (23) that is disposed on a back surface of the base portion (22), and radiates heat generated by the light emitting element. The back surface of the base portion (22) is inclined with respect to the pedestal portion (21). In the heat sink (12), a thickness of the base portion (22) is thicker on a lower side of the light emitting element than on a rear side of the base portion (22).
High-low beam switching device
A high-low beam switching device includes an installation housing, a high-low beam switching unit, and an actuating unit. The high-low beam switching unit includes a light occluding member movable between a low beam position and a high beam position, a retaining protrusion disposed on a downward surface of the light occluding member, and an elastic member disposed for biasing the light occluding member toward the low beam position. The actuating unit includes an actuating rod engaging the retaining protrusion and operable for driving the light occluding member to switch between the low beam position and the high beam position.
