Automotive lighting apparatus and relative control method
An automotive lighting apparatus is provided that includes a rear body which is adapted to be fixed to the outside or to the inside of the vehicle; a front half-shell arranged to close the mouth of said rear body; and at least one lighting assembly which is located inside the rear body and is adapted to backlight, on command, a corresponding transparent or semi-transparent sector of the front half-shell; the lighting assembly including a radially emitting optical fibre of given length; an electrically-powered, collimated light source which is located in front of a proximal end of the optical fibre, and is adapted to direct, towards the same proximal end, a collimated light beam that enters and travels inside the optical fibre; at least one proximal photometric sensor which is arranged beside the collimated light source and/or the proximal end of the optical fibre so as to capture/detect the light reflected/scattered on entering into the optical fibre; at least one distal photometric sensor which is located in front of the distal end of the optical fibre, and is adapted to capture/detect the light exiting from the distal end of the optical fibre; and an electronic control unit which is adapted to command the collimated light source on the basis of the signals coming from said proximal and distal photometric sensors.
VEHICLE LIGHTING DEVICE
In order to ensure accuracy for positioning two molding members spaced from each other and an outer lens disposed in an opening between the two molding members, a vehicle lighting device includes: a first molding member; a second molding member that is formed separately from the first molding member and is spaced from the first molding member through an opening; and an outer lens, disposed in the opening, having a transmissive surface through which lamp light is transmitted from a depth side toward a front side. The first molding member and the second molding member each have a molding-side positioning portion configured to be positioned relative to the transmissive surface of the outer lens. The outer lens has a first lens-side positioning portion configured to be positioned relative to the first molding member and a second lens-side positioning portion configured to be positioned relative to the second molding member.
Motor vehicle headlamp and method for operating a motor vehicle headlamp
A motor vehicle headlamp that includes a housing in which at least one main light source is arranged. Detachably attached to an external lens of the motor vehicle headlamp is at least one front housing, which has a light-guiding element and lamps for coupling light rays into the light-guiding element. The light rays are coupled out of the light-guiding element through an output structure. Further additional lamps that can give off light rays are arranged side by side in front of the external lens. The light rays given off by the lamps pass through the external lens and the front housing in the direction of an outside environment.
INSTALLATION DEVICE
In a camera device, light is emitted from a turn lamp, a caution lamp, and a welcome lamp. Here, the turn lamp, the caution lamp, and the welcome lamp are provided in a lamp unit. Thus, it is possible to reduce a space between the turn lamp, the caution lamp, and the welcome lamp and reduce the arrangement space of the turn lamp, the caution lamp, and the welcome lamp.

EDGE LIGHTING FOR A CONTINUOUS ILLUMINATION APPEARANCE
A light system of a vehicle comprising: a housing comprising: a glue bucket; a glue leg located partially or entirely within the glue bucket; and a light guide located between the glue bucket and the glue leg; wherein the light system is located proximate to a gap in the vehicle and the light guide guides light from the light guide into the glue leg and from the glue leg across the gap so that the light extends across the gap to illuminate the gap.
LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A lighting device for a motor vehicle, comprising a light source from which light is emitted during operation of the lighting device, a rod-shaped light guide which has a light entry surface on an end face for the light emitted from the light source and a light exit surface from which, during operation of the lighting device, the light which has entered through the light entry surface exits at least partially. The lighting device is set up to serve as a direction indicator, and wherein the lighting device comprises a controllable cover which is arranged at least partially in front of the light exit surface such that, during operation of the lighting device, at least a portion of the light exiting from the light exit surface enters an entry surface of the cover and exits from an exit surface of the cover.

Illumination Device for a Motor Vehicle
An illumination device for a motor vehicle includes at least one light source and an elongated waveguide which is delimited along the length thereof by a lateral surface. The waveguide is configured to guide light from the at least one light source along a light propagation direction in a totally reflective manner, the light propagation direction corresponding to the length of the waveguide. The light of the at least one light source can be coupled into the waveguide via a coupling surface at an end face of the waveguide, and a decoupling structure is provided in the lateral surface of the waveguide for decoupling light, which exits the waveguide via an exit region of the lateral surface along the light propagation direction, thereby overriding the total reflection condition.
