PLUG-RESISTANT BURNER TIP AND METHOD
A burner tip apparatus which is resistant to plugging, and a staged air method of operation which reduces the peak temperature of the flame of the burner tip to provide low levels of NO.sub.x and other emissions. The burner tip can be used as an auxiliary burner tip for stabilizing a main burner flame, or for other purposes.
REGENERATIVE BURNER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A method heats a furnace process chamber with the combustion of fuel gas. The method heats the process chamber in a preheat mode when the temperature of the process chamber is below the autoignition temperature of the fuel gas. The preheat mode forms preheated combustion air by directing the combustion air through a regenerative bed. A stream of the preheated combustion air is directed into the process chamber in a condition unmixed with fuel gas. The preheat mode also forms a fuel rich mixture of the fuel gas and unheated combustion air. The fuel rich mixture is directed into the process chamber adjacent to the stream of preheated combustion air.
COMBUSTION DEVICE WITH HIGH COMBUSTION EFFICIENCY
A combustion device includes a body and a burner tube therein. The burner tube extends on a plane and has a mixing section and an outlet section along its length. The mixing section has a first air inlet at an end thereof and extends lengthwise along a reference line. The mixing section includes a second air inlet extending therethrough in a direction transverse to the reference line. The mixing section has a first side and a second side on opposite sides and the second side is adjacent to a Y-axis of a coordinate system. The first mixing port extends on the second side. The outlet section has a straight part and a curved part along its length sequentially. The straight part extends between the mixing section and the curved part.
MODULAR LAUNDRY DRYER BURNER ASSEMBLY
A laundry dryer burner assembly having a burner chamber, a burner, and a rotatable assembly. The burner chamber extends along a longitudinal direction, and the burner is located within the burner chamber and extends along the longitudinal direction. The burner is rotationally fixed relative to the burner chamber. The rotatable assembly is connected to the burner and selectively movable about the longitudinal direction between a first position and a second position. The rotatable assembly has a mixing tube having a mixing tube outlet rotatably connected to the burner and a mixing tube inlet that is offset in a radial direction that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction from the mixing tube outlet.
Burner tube and venturi for gas grill
The present inventions provide, among other things, tapered burner tubes having raised gas ports and a smooth interior surface free from obstructions. Venturi members creating a smooth flow of the gas/air mixture along the top of the burner tube are also provided.
Electric Burner
A hybrid tubular pipe burner has a lateral flame emitted from a slot in the tubular pipe burner, the tubular pipe burner being supplemented with the placement of spaced electric heaters disposed outside the pipe burner. The electric heaters run along the length of the pipe burner but are disposed such that they stand off and away from the surface of the pipe burner. The pipe burner is configured to allow for initial gas firing and preheating. Upon reaching the required temperature, the gas firing will cease and the electric heaters will take over. The gas is used for preheating only. The continued flow of air through the pipe prevents deformation of the pipe in the pipe burner.
Burner assembly
In various implementations, a burner assembly may include a body coupled to burner heads. The body may include one or more converging and/or diverging parts. For example, the body may include a diverging part proximate one or more of the burner heads of the burner assembly. The body may allow a predetermined fuel/air ratio to be provided to the burner head, in some implementations.
ADJUSTABLE GAS GRILL BURNER AND METHOD OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
Adjustable gas grill burners are disclosed. Methods of making and using adjustable gas grill burners are also disclosed.
Torches, torch assemblies and methods for igniting fuel
A torch assembly for igniting a target fuel includes a torch including an elongate wand having a handle end and an opposing forward end, and a torch head located on the forward end of the wand. The torch head has a central axis. The torch head includes an outer surface, a fuel supply chamber, and a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart jet channels fluidly connecting the fuel supply chamber to the outer surface. Each jet channel is configured such that, when a pressurized flow of a gaseous torch fuel is supplied to the jet channels through the fuel supply chamber and ignited, each jet channel directs a respective flame jet forwardly and radially outwardly from the outer surface at an acute angle to the central axis.
Gas burner for boiler
A gas burner (1) comprises a support plate (2) with a passage opening (8) for the gas and an annular wall (11) formed around the passage opening (8), a diffusing wall (19) and a further flow element (20,21,22) inserted on the annular wall (11) in flow communication with the passage opening (8), wherein the annular wall (11) forms a plurality of punches (16) with a recess (17) and an opposite projection (23), wherein the recess (17) accommodates a locking protuberance (25) of the diffusing wall (19) and the projection (23) extends in a locking hole (24) of the further flow element (20, 21, 22).
