A drain pan is disposed under the heat exchanger, and a drain gutter is disposed under the outflow port of the drain pan. The drain gutter includes a main drain port at its end portion where the depth of the drain gutter is deepest, and a secondary drain port at its end portion where the depth of the drain gutter is shallowest. The drain gutter has a guide portion, the end of which protrudes to the outside of the casing.

A casing of a heat source unit for a refrigeration device is configured to allow air to flow from a machine chamber disposed at a lower portion of the casing to a heat exchange chamber disposed above the machine chamber. An electric component box includes a bottom panel, a side panel which has a vent opening, a top panel, and a vent opening cover for covering the vent opening of the side panel. The vent opening cover is provided with a plurality of slits extending in the vertical direction at positions deviated from a portion opposed to the vent opening of the side panel.

A casing of a heat source unit for a refrigeration device is configured to allow air to flow from a machine chamber disposed at a lower portion of the casing to a heat exchange chamber disposed above the machine chamber. An electric component box includes a bottom panel, a side panel which has a vent opening, a top panel, and a vent opening cover for covering the vent opening of the side panel. The vent opening cover is provided with a plurality of slits extending in the vertical direction at positions deviated from a portion opposed to the vent opening of the side panel.

A climate control outdoor unit has: a housing; a compressor having an electric motor; a refrigerant-air heat exchanger; an electric fan positioned to drive an air flow along an air flowpath across the refrigerant-air heat exchanger; and an inverter unit coupled to the electric motor to drive the electric motor. An additional air flowpath extends along the inverter unit to merge with the air flowpath.

A climate control outdoor unit has: a housing; a compressor having an electric motor; a refrigerant-air heat exchanger; an electric fan positioned to drive an air flow along an air flowpath across the refrigerant-air heat exchanger; and an inverter unit coupled to the electric motor to drive the electric motor. An additional air flowpath extends along the inverter unit to merge with the air flowpath.

A heat exchange section includes a first air heat exchanger having three vertical side surfaces through which air passes, the three side surfaces being arranged in a substantially U shape when viewed in plan, and a second air heat exchanger which is formed in a substantially flat plate shape, arranged obliquely to be away from an open surface of the first air heat exchanger toward a top end thereof, and has a single sloping surface through which the air passes.

An outdoor unit for an air conditioner may include a case, a controller disposed in the case, a coupling member configured to connect the case to the controller, and a cooling pipe coupled to one side of the controller so as to perform heat-exchange with the controller. The controller may include a first controller connected to the coupling member so as to be rotatably coupled to the case, and a second controller coupled to the cooling pipe so as to be fixedly installed inside of the case.

An outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a body frame having, in a side face, an air inlet from which outside air is suctioned, the body frame including a hanger-receiving portion in an upper part, the hanger-receiving portion including a beam-like supporting part; an outdoor heat exchanger provided inside the body frame and extending along the air inlet; a hanging portion engaging with the outdoor heat exchanger; and a connecting element connecting the hanger-receiving portion and the hanging portion to each other.
