A ceiling fan including a retention system and method of redundantly retaining a ceiling fan can include a ceiling fan motor assembly including a hollow motor shaft at least partially surrounded by a motor housing. A retainer plate is provided at the bottom of the motor housing including an opening. A retainer rod extends through the opening in the retainer plate and secures to the retainer plate. A support cable couples to the retainer rod to suspend the retainer plate from a structure, wherein the retainer plate is configured to redundantly retainer the ceiling fan.

The blade comprising a pressure side surface and a suction side surface extending between the leading and trailing edges and including a hollow interior and including a tip opening at the tip and a root opening at the root for accessing the hollow interior. The at least one fan blade includes a thickness to chord ratio of less than about 15%.

STATOR UNIT, MOTOR, AND PARALLEL FAN

This stator unit includes a cylindrical bearing housing arranged to extend along a central axis extending in a vertical direction; a base member arranged to fix the bearing housing; a stator fixed to an outer circumferential surface of the bearing housing; and a mold resin portion arranged to cover the stator. The stator includes a stator core including a plurality of teeth arranged to project radially outward; an insulator arranged to cover a portion of a surface of the stator core; and a plurality of coils each of which is defined by a conducting wire wound around a separate one of the teeth with the insulator therebetween. A sealing agent is arranged between at least two of the outer circumferential surface of the bearing housing, the stator core, and the insulator.

Brushless motor

A brushless motor has a stator and an outer rotor. The stator includes a stator core having 6N teeth and 6N coils wound respectively around the teeth where N is an integer equal to or greater than 1. The rotor includes 6N±2 permanent magnets. The permanent magnets are arranged circumferentially around the stator core and face the teeth across an air gap. The radial thickness of the air gap is uneven along the circumferential direction of the motor.

The stator and the rotor define an air gap therebetween. A circumferential width of the slot opening is equal to or less than two times of a radial width of the air gap.

The pump includes an impeller to rotate inside the casing to create low pressure at the inlet and increase pressure to expel fluid from the output. The rotor includes permanent magnets arranged radially around a surface of the rotor opposite the physical connection to the impeller. A variation replaces the magnets with a switched reluctance path. The pump includes a stator assembly within the casing, magnetically coupled to the rotor, the stator assembly having electrically controllable conductors to drive the rotor with axial flux.

The insulator covers at least a portion of the stator core. The conductive wire is wound around the teeth via the insulator to define a coil. The terminal pin extends axially upward from an upper surface of the insulator and is connected to an end portion of the conductive wire. The circuit board includes a solder portion on an upper surface. The solder portion enables electrical connection with the terminal pin and is covered with a coating layer.
