CENTRIFUGAL BLOWER WHEEL FOR HVACR APPLICATIONS
A forward curved blower wheel has fan blades having relatively small leading edge blades angles and a relatively lengthy mean camber lines. The blower wheel also comprises leading edge notches adjacent its blower wheel inlet. The leading edge notches eliminate buffeting that would occur with such blades if such notches were not present.
Cross-flow fan, molding die, and fluid feeder
A cross-flow fan includes a plurality of fan blades provided to be circumferentially spaced apart from each other. The fan blade has an inner edge portion arranged on the radially inner side to/from which air flows in/out, and an outer edge portion arranged on the radially outer side to/from which air flows in/out. Fan blade has a blade surface extending between the inner edge portion and the outer edge portion. The blade surface includes a pressure surface arranged on the rotation direction side of the cross-flow fan and a suction surface arranged on the back side of the pressure surface. When cut along a plane orthogonal to the rotation axis of the cross-flow fan, the fan blade has a blade cross-sectional shape in which a concave portion concave from the pressure surface is formed.
Fan impeller
A fan impeller for the conveyance of a gaseous fluid includes several blades arranged with constant angular spacing around a rotation axis. At least one blade has a boundary zone and an inner zone, together with a bead extending between them along a curved path and/or the boundary zone is determined by a first blade surface and the inner zone is determined by a second blade surface, which are arranged with varying geometry.
Fan impeller blade
A centrifugal fan impeller includes a front endring, a rear endring, and a plurality of blades coupled between the front and the rear endrings. At least one blade of the plurality of blades includes a blade span extending between the front endring and the rear endring, a leading edge, and a trailing edge. The at least one blade further includes a first elliptical cross-sectional profile extending between the leading and the trailing edges.
Cross flow fan and indoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus
An impeller element includes a plurality of blades disposed along an outer circumference of a circular support plate. Each blade is divided into a plurality of blade sections in a rotational axis direction. At least one of the divided blade sections as a long-chord blade section is configured such that a chord as a line segment connecting a blade outer-circumferential edge and a blade inner-circumferential edge of the blade in a cross section perpendicular to a rotational axis of the blade has a greater length than a chord of another one of the blade sections as a short-chord blade section. The blade inner-circumferential edge of the at least one long-chord blade section having the longer chord protrudes toward the inner circumferential side, relative to the blade inner-circumferential edge of the at least other one of the blade sections as the short-chord blade section having the shorter chord.
Method of manufacturing a fan assembly
A method including bending an elongate portion of a flat strip of metallic material into a ring about an axis extending parallel to a thickness of the elongate portion of the strip of metallic material. The method includes fixing end portions of the ring together to form a flat ring, the flat ring having opposite flat side surfaces, a radially inner surface, a radially outer surface, a pair of radially inner edges, and a pair of radially outer edges, wherein the pair of radially inner edges connect the radially inner surface and the opposite flat side surfaces and the pair of radially outer edges connect the radially outer surface and the opposite flat side surfaces. The method includes connecting a plurality of curved blades to the flat ring and connecting a hub support to the curved blades at a position spaced from the flat ring along the curved blades.
Method of Manufacturing a Fan Assembly
In one aspect, a fan assembly is provided that can be manufactured while producing a significantly reduced amount of scrap material. More specifically, the fan assembly utilizes a hub ring and one or more hub strips to support a plurality of blades rather than a solid center disc or end disc used by some prior approaches. In another aspect, a method is provided that includes bending a member into an annular configuration and joining end portions of the member together to rigidly fix the member in the annular configuration. The rigid annular member may be used as an end ring, a hub ring, an orifice, or other component, while producing significantly less scrap material than traditional approaches.
Ventilation system
A ventilation system comprises a ventilation fan with a lamp and a ceiling which has an installation opening. The ventilation fan with the lamp is adapted for installing to the ceiling through the installation opening. The ventilation fan comprises a housing, a fan module, and a lamp module. The housing includes a top plate and a side wall which are connected with each other to form a first opening. The first opening is aligned with the installation opening. The fan module is disposed in the housing. The lamp module is disposed out of the installation opening. The lamp module and the housing are located at opposite sides of the installation opening of the ceiling. The lamp module includes a light source, a base, at least one optical component, a switch and a lamp cover. The optical component and the switch are disposed at the different sides of the base.
Low Noise High Efficiency Centrifugal Blower
A centrifugal blower for HVACR applications includes a squirrel cage forward-curved blower fan and a scroll housing. The blower fan comprises a plurality of blades that are configured to emit air radially outward and tangentially from between the blades when the blower fan rotates at a first speed. The air so emitted has a deviation angle defined as the difference between the direction of the emitted air and the blade exit angle. The scroll housing has a spline-shaped wall that has an axial cross-section that is configured such that the deviation angle of the air emitted from the blower fan at an axial plane deviates by no more than fifteen percent circumferentially about the blower fan in-between the spline-shaped wall and the blower fan and such that the average tangential velocity of air between the spline-shaped wall and the blower fan deviates by no more than thirty percent.
AIR HANDLER BLOWER AND METHOD OF OERATING THE SAME
An air handler blower is provided, comprising: a blower wheel having a center plate with one or more openings, a first cylindrical blade assembly extending from a first side of the center plate, the first cylindrical blade assembly containing a plurality of first blades extending from the first side of the center plate and arranged in a circle to define a first cavity, and a second cylindrical blade assembly extending from a second side of the center plate opposite the first side, the second cylindrical blade assembly containing a plurality of second blades extending from the second side of the center plate and arranged in a circle to define a second cavity; a motor located proximate to the first cylindrical blade assembly and configured to rotate the blower wheel; and an axle connecting the motor and the center plate.
