Ventilation device provided with a volute-shaped casing
Ventilation device including a turbine mounted inside a radially volute-shaped casing, the peripheral wall of the casing moving progressively away from the periphery of the turbine from a volute tongue to a distal end (E.sub.2) of the volute, the radial expansion of the volute being defined by an angle of expansion (a.sub.i), characterised by the fact that the initial angle of expansion (a.sub.1) in the vicinity of the volute tongue is 1.5 times to 3 times greater than the final angle of expansion (a.sub.2) in the vicinity of the distal end (E.sub.2) of the volute, so that the peripheral wall of the casing moves away from the blades more rapidly at the start of the volute minimising the turbulences generated at the volute tongue.
RADIAL VENTILATOR
A radial ventilator (1) has a base part (2), a housing part (4), with a discharge 33, placed on the base part (2), a motor electronics unit (98), and an internal rotor electric motor. The motor drives a ventilator wheel (3) via a shaft (7). The motor electronics unit (98) and a stator (32) of the electric motor are encapsulated by an extrusion coating (17) in the base part (2) and together form an integral one-piece structural unit. The radial ventilator (1) has a pressure chamber (D) enlarging in a spiral shape around the ventilator wheel (3). The pressure chamber (D) is formed and defined by the housing part (4) and the extrusion coating (17).
Centrifugal Pumps Having Anti-Air-Locking Features
A centrifugal pump for pumping fluid includes a volute having an upstream inlet that receives the fluid and a downstream outlet that discharges the fluid. An impeller is disposed in the volute and comprises a plurality of impeller vanes. The impeller is configured to rotate about an axis of rotation so that the plurality of impeller vanes accelerates the fluid radially outwardly from the upstream inlet to the downstream outlet. The impeller is further configured to discourage air-lock of the centrifugal pump by expelling air away from the upstream inlet as the impeller rotates about the axis of rotation.
AIR CYCLE MACHINE FAN AND COMPRESSOR HOUSING
A fan and compressor housing for an air cycle machine includes a fan inlet disposed around a center axis of the housing and having a fan inlet mounting flange, a compressor outlet having a compressor outlet mounting flange, and a compressor inlet having a compressor inlet mounting flange. The fan inlet mounting flange has a pinhole disposed thereon configured to receive a pin from a fan inlet diffuser housing and a fan inlet counterbore configured to receive a mating component from the fan inlet diffuser housing. The compressor outlet mounting flange has a compressor outlet counterbore configured to receive a first mating component from a condenser/reheater. The compressor inlet mounting flange has a compressor inlet counterbore configured to receive a second mating component from the condenser/reheater.
AIR-COOLED REFRIGERATOR SUPPLYING AIR THROUGH CENTRIFUGAL FAN
An air-cooled refrigerator supplying air through a centrifugal fan, comprising a bottom liner, an air duct back plate, and the centrifugal fan. A cooling chamber and a storage space are defined in the bottom liner; the air duct back plate is provided in the-front of a back wall of the bottom liner, and defines an air supply duct with the back wall of the bottom liner; the centrifugal fan comprises a volute and an impeller; the volute is arranged obliquely upwards from front to back at the back of the cooling chamber, and a fan cavity and a gradually widened exhaust cavity are defined in the volute; the fan cavity is formed into a continuous spiral; the gradually widened exhaust cavity is gradually widen backwards from the fan cavity; the impeller is provided in the fan cavity; and the inner wall face of the fan cavity is continuous and smooth.
BACKPACK BLOWER
A blower including a housing at least partially defining a chamber, a motor including a drive shaft defining a rotational axis, and an impeller drive by the motor to generate an air flow in the chamber. The blower also includes a coupler operably connected between the drive shaft and the impeller to transmit torque therebetween, the coupler being connected to one of the drive shaft and the impeller and including a plurality of ribs configured to engage the other of the drive shaft and the impeller, each rib defining a rib axis transverse to the rotational axis, each rib axis being arranged tangent to a circle centered on the rotational axis.
BEARING ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a bearing arrangement designed as a fixed/floating bearing for a rotor of a fan, having a bearing tube, a compression spring, a shaft arranged coaxially with respect to the bearing tube, and two identically formed ball bearings arranged between the bearing tube and the shaft, each ball bearing having an inner ring and an outer ring, wherein multiple different fit zones are formed axially along the bearing tube, wherein, in a first axial fit zone, one of the ball bearings as a fixed bearing is attached by its inner ring on the shaft and its outer ring is fixed with a press fit on a continuous, shoulder-free portion of the bearing tube and, in a second axial fit zone, another of the ball bearings as a floating bearing is attached by its inner ring to the shaft and its outer ring is axially displaceably arranged with a clearance fit on a continuous, shoulder-free portion of the bearing tube, wherein the compression spring is arranged in a third axial fit zone and, exerting a preload against the outer rings of the ball bearings, is positioned axially between the ball bearings and is designed to eliminate bearing play of the floating bearing.
Autonomous surface cleaning robot for wet and dry cleaning
An autonomous floor cleaning robot includes a transport drive and control system arranged for autonomous movement of the robot over a floor for performing cleaning operations. The robot chassis carries a first cleaning zone comprising cleaning elements arranged to suction loose particulates up from the cleaning surface and a second cleaning zone comprising cleaning elements arranged to apply a cleaning fluid onto the surface and to thereafter collect the cleaning fluid up from the surface after it has been used to clean the surface. The robot chassis carries a supply of cleaning fluid and a waste container for storing waste materials collected up from the cleaning surface.
Radial ventilator
A radial fan (1) is provided with a motor (2) and a fan housing, an outer part (4) and an inner part (5) that form a spiral-like pressure chamber (D). A pressure connector (33) which forms an outlet (44) of the radial fan (1) is arranged on the outer part. The fan housing is equipped with a fan wheel (3) which is arranged on a shaft (7) connected to the motor (2), wherein an annular flow divider (8) which surrounds the fan wheel (3) is arranged adjacently to the fan wheel (3) in a radial direction.
