The connection portions are disposed obliquely with respect to the axial direction.

The first guide surface may include at least one distribution guide that distributes and guides air, and thus, the air having been equally distributed by means of the at least one distribution guide may be suctioned into the cross-flow fan so that vortex generation is prevented, thereby enabling noise to be reduced.

The blower according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a lower case in which a suction port is formed; a fan disposed inside the lower case and blowing air introduced through the suction port upward; a first tower elongated to an upper side from the lower case and formed with a first discharge port opening forward; a second tower spaced apart from the first tower in a horizontal direction, elongated to an upper side from the lower case, and formed with a second discharge port opening forward; an air guide disposed inside the first tower and spaced apart from a front end of the first tower and elongated along a front and rear direction toward the first discharge port; and a handle disposed between the fan and the air guide and elongated from upstream of the air guide toward the front end of the first tower. The handle is disposed between the fan and the air guide, so that the blowing performance of the blower can be enhanced.

Each of the one or more apertures is bounded by sidewalls, and includes a diffuser section in which the sidewalls diverge from each other in a downstream direction; A diffusing angle between the sidewalls varies over the length of the diffuser section.

Centrifugal compressors can incorporate a side stream flow of intermediate pressure vapor between stages of that compressor. The side stream flow can be controlled by a side stream injection port controlled by a throttle ring disposed between stages of the compressor. The throttle ring can allow or obstruct flow through the side stream injection port. The throttle ring can extend and retract in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of flow from the first stage impeller to the second stage impeller. A method of operating a centrifugal compressor can include actuating a throttle ring by rotating a drive ring to adjust a flow of interstage fluid into the second stage impeller.

A compressor has a rotor assembly having an impeller for generating an airflow through the compressor, a stator core assembly for causing rotation of the impeller, and a diffuser assembly for acting on the airflow generated by the impeller. The diffuser assembly has a first diffuser stage and a second diffuser stage. The first and second diffuser stages are separate components connected to one another by a fastener.
