Anti-friction lacquer and sliding element having such an anti-friction lacquer
An anti-friction lacquer has a resin matrix of a polymer and functional fillers containing mixed-phase oxides having a specified grinding hardness and proportion and optionally contain further functional fillers. A sliding element is also disclosed having a metallic substrate layer and a coating applied to the substrate that is made of at least in part of the anti-friction.
PLAIN BEARING OR PART THEREOF, METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME AND USE OF A CUCRZR ALLOY AS A PLAIN BEARING MATERIAL
The present application relates to a plain bearing, or a part thereof and to a method for producing same, characterised in that the plain bearing at least partially consists of a CuCrZr alloy. The application also relates to the use of the CuCrZr alloy as a plain bearing material.
Polycrystalline diamond radial bearing
A radial bearing assembly is provided. The radial bearing assembly includes polycrystalline diamond elements, each having an engagement surface in sliding engagement with an opposing engagement surface. The opposing engagement surface includes a diamond reactive material. The radial bearing assembly may be deployed in a variety of components and applications, including in rotor and stator assemblies. Also provided are methods of use of the radial bearing assembly, as well as methods of designing the radial bearing assembly.
SLIDING MEMBER
A sliding member includes a back metal layer and a sliding layer on the back metal layer. The sliding layer includes a synthetic resin matrix and graphite particles dispersed in the matrix in a volume ratio of 5-50% of that of the sliding layer. The graphite particles are composed of spheroidal and flake-like particles. The flake-like particles have a volume ratio of 10-40% of total graphite particles. The spheroidal particles have a cross-sectional structure with a plurality of AB planes of a graphite crystal laminated along a curved particle surface, from the surface toward a center direction. The flake-like graphite particles have a cross-sectional structure with the plurality of AB planes laminated in a thickness direction of the thin plate shape. The spheroidal particles have an average particle size of 3-50 μm, and the flake-like graphite particles have an average particle size of 1-25 μm.
Plain bearing and method for its manufacture
A newly built plain bearing has an inner ring and an outer ring each having a sliding surface along which the rings are movable relative to each other. The sliding surfaces are spaced from each other by an intermediate space that holds an initial greasing, and at least one of the sliding surfaces includes an anti-corrosion coating.
DYNAMIC BEARING
A dynamic bearing for an aircraft landing gear. The bearing comprises a lug, a shaft comprising a first material, and a bearing surface comprising a second material that is softer than the first material. The bearing surface defines a bore and is arranged to support the shaft when the shaft is movably housed within the bore in use. The bearing surface is defined by the lug or a coating applied to the lug.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SLIDING ELEMENT
A method for producing a sliding element, providing a first band-shaped or strip-shaped metallic material of a thickness, wherein the first material has apertures which extend over the entire thickness of the first material, providing a second band-shaped or strip-shaped metallic material of a thickness, areally connecting the first band-shaped or strip-shaped material to the second band-shaped or strip-shaped material by laser roll cladding such that a band-shaped or strip-shaped composite material is formed, which has a longitudinal direction X and a transverse direction, and has a thickness oriented perpendicularly with respect to the longitudinal and transverse directions. The method further includes bending the composite material about an axis oriented parallel to the transverse direction of the composite material, such that a sliding element is formed which has cutouts on its running surface that are formed at least partially from the apertures of the first material.
Sliding member
Disclosed herein is a sliding member for an internal-combustion engine of an automobile or the like. The sliding member has excellent sliding properties due to high oleophilicity of its sliding surface achieved by adjusting the surface texture of a resin layer forming the sliding surface, which makes it possible to effectively prevent wear or seizure of the sliding member and a counterpart sliding member thereof. The sliding member includes a resin layer provided on a surface of a base material, in which the resin layer has a surface roughness of 1.05 or more, preferably 1.07 or more. The mean spacing (s) between local peaks of the resin layer may be in the range of 2 μm or more but 12 μm or less, but may be preferably in the range of 2 μm or more but 10 μm or less. Further, the mean height (Rc) of the resin layer may be in the range of 0.5 μm or more but 5.0 μm or less, but may be preferably in the range of 0.5 μm or more but 3.0 μm or less.
Solid particle, solid lubricant, and metal member
The present invention aims to provide solid particles with improved lubrication, a solid lubricant including the solid particles, and a metal member including, on the surface thereof, the solid particles or the solid lubricant. The solid particles of the present invention include base particles and carbon fluoride particles attached to surfaces of the base particles.
ALUMINUM ALLOY FOR SLIDE BEARING, AND SLIDE BEARING
An aluminum alloy for a slide bearing of the present invention contains: 0 mass % or more and 10.0 mass % or less of Sn and 0 mass % or more and 5.0 mass % or less of Si, 0 mass % or more and 2.0 mass % or less of Cu as a solid-solution strengthening component, at least one of 0.05 mass % or more and 0.35 mass % or less of Cr, 0.05 mass % or more and 1.5 mass % or less of Mn, and 0.05 mass % or more and 0.3 mass % or less of Zr as a precipitation strengthening component, 2.3 mass % or more and 6.0 mass % or less of Ag, a part of which is dissolved to form a solid solution and the rest of which is precipitated, and the balance consisting of unavoidable impurities and Al.
