Combination bearing and seal assembly with common outer body

A combination bearing and seal assembly includes a tubular outer body connectable with an outer member and having first and second axial ends, opposing inner and outer surfaces and a bearing outer raceway on the outer body inner surface. A tubular inner body is disposed within an outer body bore and is disposeable about and coupleable with the rotatable member. The inner body has inner and outer surfaces, opposing outer and inner axial ends, the inner axial end providing a generally radial seal contact surface, and a bearing inner raceway on the inner body outer surface. Rolling elements disposed between the outer and inner raceways rotatably couple the outer and inner bodies and form a bearing. An annular seal is within the outer body bore, is coupled with the tubular outer body and has a generally radial sealing surface sealingly engageable with the inner body contact surface.

BEARING AND SEALING DEVICE

A bearing and a sealing device. The sealing device includes: a skeleton; and a sealing part, which, taken as a whole, is of an annular structure, the sealing part comprising an elastic part and a plastic part, and the elastic part being fixed to the skeleton. After the sealing device is arranged between a bearing inner ring and a bearing outer ring, the plastic part and the bearing inner ring form contact sealing, the elastic part and the plastic part are relatively fixed, and in the radial direction, at least part of the plastic part is arranged between the bearing inner ring and the elastic part. The coefficient of friction of the material of the plastic part is smaller than the coefficient of friction of the material of the elastic part.

Pulley structure

The pulley structure includes a ventilation path that is formed at a position shifted in a radial direction from a rotating axis of a first rotating body and allows a spring accommodation space, formed between the first rotating body and a second rotating body, and the outside to communicate with each other. At least a part of the ventilation path is formed in an end cap that blocks an opening portion on one side of the first rotating body in a rotating axis direction. The end cap blocks the opening portion of the first rotating body such that the spring accommodation space does not communicate with the outside toward the one side in the rotating axis direction other than the ventilation path.

Industrial mower sealed roller bearing system

An industrial mower sealed roller bearing system provides a roller bearing to avoid repeated and frequent repacking. The system includes an industrial mower having a roller mount and a ground roller. The ground roller bearing includes an insert body having a first end, a closed second end, and a channel extending into the first end towards the second end. An outer section of a shaft extends from the insert body and is couplable to the roller mount. A face seal is provided at the first end of the insert body to define a sealed interior chamber. The face seal is positioned relative to the insert body and the shaft such that the insert body is rotatable relative to the shaft. Each of a plurality of interior bearings is positioned within the sealed interior chamber of the insert body such that the insert body is rotatable relative to the shaft.

Replacement Methods for Radial Seals of Wind Turbine Main Bearings

A method for replacing an existing radial seal positioned around a shaft and adjacent to a bearing includes providing at least one spacer in a seal cavity of the existing radial seal. The method also includes removing a cover of the existing radial seal. The method further includes removing the at least one spacer. In addition, the method includes removing the existing radial seal from around the shaft. Moreover, the method includes replacing the existing radial seal with a new radial seal. Further, the method includes moving the spacer(s) from a first side of the seal cavity to an opposing, second side of the seal cavity to provide a new sealing location for the new radial seal. Thus, the method also includes securing the cover adjacent to the new radial seal.
