A clutch disk for a vehicle may include a hub plate mounted on a shaft to restrict a rotation of the shaft, a sub plate rotatably mounted on the shaft, a presser mounted on the hub plate to restrict a position of the presser and protruding from the hub plate toward the sub plate, and a wave spring positioned between the hub plate and the sub plate, mounted to allow at least a part of the wave spring to adhere to the sub plate, and formed with a flexion to change a spaced distance from the hub plate depending on a rotation direction of the hub plate to thereby change a point and a level pressed by the presser depending on a relative rotation between the hub plate and the sub plate.

Clutch and speed change device including the same

A clutch that includes a friction plate; a separator plate; a clutch hub; and a piston that presses the friction plate and the separator plate, wherein the clutch hub includes a hub on which an inner peripheral portion of the friction plate or the separator plate is fitted, a tubular shaft that movably supports the piston, and an engagement oil chamber defining wall that together with the piston defines an engagement oil chamber to which an engagement oil pressure is supplied, the hub is spline-fitted on a gear of a planetary gear so as to rotate with the gear, and the tubular shaft is rotatably supported by a central shaft and is fitted by a spigot joint in the gear.

Driving force distributing apparatus

A driving force distributing apparatus is configured to distribute a driving force from an engine to right and left wheels in a manner that the driving force is differentially transmittable to the wheels and the transmission of the driving force is interruptible. The apparatus includes: a differential case; a differential gear mechanism including a pair of side gears and a plurality of pinion gears; an intermediate shaft coupled to one of the side gears such that the intermediate shaft is not rotatable relative to this side gear; and a clutch mechanism to transmit a driving force from the intermediate shaft to one of the wheels in a manner that the transmission of the driving force is interruptible. The clutch mechanism includes: coaxial relatively rotatable first and second rotational members; and a plurality of clutch plates disposed between the rotational members. The first rotational member is spline-fitted to the intermediate shaft.

CLUTCH HUB ASSEMBLY

An improved clutch hub assembly is disclosed. The improved clutch hub assembly provides improved wear resistance at the interfaces between separator plates and a clutch hub while allowing an operator to have improved clutch lever control and modulation when manually engaging or disengaging the clutch system.

Clutch for a transmission

A torque transmitting device for an automotive transmission includes a clutch housing with a plurality of internal splines, a clutch hub with a plurality of external splines extending radially outwardly from the clutch hub, a plurality of friction plates with internal teeth and a first and a second surface. The first and second surface having a friction material disposed thereon and at least one of the internal teeth has an aperture and the plurality of internal teeth intermesh with the plurality of external splines on the outer surface of the clutch hub, a plurality of reaction plates having a plurality of external teeth and a first and a second surface. The plurality of external teeth intermesh with the plurality of internal splines in the clutch housing, and a spacer member disposed in the aperture separates a first of the friction plates from a second of the friction plates.

Lift fan clutch plate to reduce instability

A clutch for a lift fan comprises at least one output shaft lug key positioned in a keyway of at least two output clutch plates and extending axially from one to the other of the two output clutch plates. The output shaft lug key couples the rotation of the output clutch plates to the rotation an output shaft and allows axial movement of the two output clutch plates relative the output shaft lug key. The width of an inner surface of the output shaft lug key varies along the axial length as a function of the proximity to a home axial position of each of the output clutch plates when in the disengaged position.

Method of staking a damper flange to a damper hub

A method of forming a damper assembly for a motor vehicle drive train is provided. The method includes staking a damper flange including a splined inner circumferential surface onto a damper hub to form a first rotational connection between the damper flange and damper hub; and forming a second rotational connection between a radially projecting protrusion of the damper hub and the damper flange. A damper assembly is also provided that includes a damper flange including a splined inner circumferential surface; and a damper hub including an outer circumferential surface staked to the splined inner circumferential surface of damper flange forming a first rotational connection between the damper flange and damper hub. The damper hub includes a radially projecting protrusion fixed to the damper flange forming a second rotational connection between the damper flange and the damper hub.

Hub unit having a brake disc

A hub unit has a brake disc and a hub body disposed to rotate with a rim on which a tire is mounted. An internal space is formed in the hub body, wherein the brake disc is fixed in the internal space. A fixed shaft is disposed and fixed along a rotation center shaft of the hub body. A brake shoe is coupled to the fixed shaft. A brake pad is disposed to contact the brake disc. A braking force applier supplies a braking force to the hub body wherein the brake pad and the brake disc are in contact with each other.

A collar is engaged to the plate having an internal surface and an external surface, wherein the top surface of the plate and the internal surface of the collar define a cavity. A plurality of teeth radially extending from the external surface collar, and a support member extends outwardly from the collar.

A first crosspiece portions are formed in each of ranges of divided angles formed by two adjacent attachment holes with respect to a center of the rotation transmission disc. The first crosspiece portion extends from a load point, which is an intersection between a straight line extending in a radial direction to internally divide the divided angles at a predetermined angular ratio and a load radius position of the outer circumferential portion, to one of the attachment holes forming the divided angles. The second crosspiece portion extends from the load point to the other attachment hole of the attachment holes forming the divided angles.
