VALVE ARRANGEMENT FOR A VIBRATION DAMPER
A valve arrangement for a vibration damper, as may be used on a vehicle. The vibration damper can be a telescopic suspension fork leg of a motorbike, or a shock absorber for a vehicle with more than one track, for example an automobile. The valve arrangement is for a vibration damper that has a valve housing with an annular valve seat, and is configured to receive damping fluid, and further having a valve piston arranged in an axially displaceable manner relative to the valve seat in an inner space of the valve housing. The valve piston has a main valve which has a flexible circular valve disc which can be removed from contact with a contact surface side on the valve seat. The valve disc is arranged on the valve piston by a guide pin, such that it can be moved axially relative to the latter and is guided radially.
Damper assembly
A damper assembly includes a cylinder defining a chamber. The damper assembly includes a body supported by the cylinder and having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The body defines a passage extending from the first surface to the second surface. One of the first surface or the second surface define a slope at the passage. The damper assembly includes a check disc at the slope, the check disc selectively restricting fluid flow through the passage.
Hydraulic damping device
The hydraulic damping device includes: a cylinder storing fluid; a piston configured to form a channel through which the fluid flows along with relative movement of a rod relative to the cylinder in a specific direction; a valve having elasticity, the valve being configured to open and close the channel in the piston; a movement permitting part configured to permit the valve to move between a contact position and a spaced position, the contact position being a position where the valve contacts the piston, the spaced position being a position where the valve is spaced from the piston; a restricting part configured to restrict bending of the valve at the spaced position; and a pressing part having elasticity, the pressing part being configured to press the valve against the piston.
Damping valve and shock absorber
A damping valve includes a valve seat member, a first valve element stacked on the valve seat member, a second valve element provided between an inner circumference valve seat of the valve seat member and the first valve element, the second valve element being configured to open and close a hole of the first valve element, and a biasing member configured to bias the first valve element towards the second valve element, wherein a surface of the second valve element on an opposite side from the valve seat member is higher than the outer circumference valve seat of the valve seat member.
DAMPING VALVE DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE STOP
Damping valve device including a valve carrier having a circumferential annular groove in which a valve element, which can be changed in terms of diameter, forms a throttle point together with a flow guiding surface. The throttle point transitions from a through-flow position into a throttled position as a function of the flow rate of the damping medium, and at the same time the maximum widened position of the valve element which is determined by a stop is limited, the stop being designed to be adjustable.
Damping valve device for a vibration damper
A damping valve device having a support with a circumferential groove in which a radially expandable annular element together with a flow surface forms a restriction, which restriction transitions from an open position to a restriction position depending on the flow velocity of a damping medium, and the maximum expansion position of the annular element is determined/limited by a stop. The annular element moves in direction of the open position with a delay when the flow velocity decreases by means of a dead time element.
Damping valve arrangement
A damping valve arrangement of a vibration damper for a motor vehicle includes a damping valve body having a longitudinal axis A and a throughflow passage is covered by at least one valve disk, a spring arrangement has at least a first substantially disk-shaped spring element; and a force transmission disk arranged between the valve disk and the first spring element so as to be axially displaceable coaxial to the damping valve body. The force transmission disk has a first surface facing the first spring element and comprising a first contact ring with a first diameter, which first contact ring is axially elevated above the first surface, and a second surface opposite the first surface, which second surface faces the valve disk and comprises a second contact ring with a second diameter, which second contact ring is axially elevated above the second surface.
DAMPER ASSEMBLY
A damper assembly includes a pressure tube defining a chamber. The damper assembly includes a body supported by the pressure tube. The body has a first surface and a second surface opposite and spaced from the first surface along an axis. The body defines a passage extending from the first surface to the second surface. The damper assembly includes an orifice disc movable from an unflexed position to a first flexed position and movable from the first flexed position to a second flexed position. The orifice disc in the unflexed position is spaced from the first surface radially outward and radially inward of the passage. The orifice disc in the first flexed position is spaced from the first surface radially outward of the passage and abuts the first surface radially inward of the passage. The orifice disc in the second flexed position abuts the first surface radially outward and radially inward of the passage.
DAMPER ASSEMBLY
A damper assembly includes a pressure tube forming a chamber, a piston assembly disposed in the chamber and dividing the chamber into two subchambers, and a piston rod fixed to the piston assembly. The piston assembly includes a body having an inner bore extending axially through the body. The piston assembly includes a blowoff disc contacting the body at the inner bore and having a throughhole aligned with the inner bore. The piston rod extends through and concentrically contacts the inner bore and the throughhole. The body has a groove extending axially along a length of the inner bore. The groove and the piston rod form a passageway permitting fluid to travel across the body. The blowoff disc has a notch extending from the throughhole and arranged to permit fluid from the passageway to pass across the blowoff disc.
