The present disclosure relates to a brake actuator unit and to an electromechanical brake. The brake actuator unit has a spindle, which is driven in rotation by an electric motor, and a brake piston in the form of a spindle nut, which surrounds the spindle and is configured to press against a brake lining.

BALL SCREW DRIVE

A ball screw drive includes a threaded spindle and a spindle nut with a plurality of balls that circulate endlessly in the intermediate space between the nut and the spindle. A ball return guide guides balls at one location out of the helical ball race by a ball deflector and feeds the balls back via a transition channel and another ball deflector. The ball deflectors are arranged in radial through-openings in the lateral surface of the nut. One or more small metal plates are provided on the nut, and are arranged in and/or adjacent to the radial through-openings and offset inwardly away from the lateral surface, and span the ball return guide in a planar manner. The ball return guide is fixed in a target position in the lateral surface of the nut, and when fully assembled the small metal plates do not protrude beyond the lateral surface.

A method for producing a threaded nut of a threaded drive, includes the following steps: a sleeve is produced from a steel sheet which is suitable for case-hardening; a rolling profile for a rolling contact with rolling bodies is molded on the inner circumference of the sleeve, said rolling profile being wound in a helical manner about the longitudinal axis of the sleeve; a flange is welded to the end face of the sleeve; the flange is provided with a welding surface on the flange end face facing away from the sleeve for welding to a machine part; the welding surface initially has a diffusion-inhibiting layer which inhibits the penetration of carbon; and the welding surface is exposed by removing the diffusion-inhibiting layer after case-hardening the threaded nut. A threaded nut produced according to the method can be part of a ball screw drive, the flange of which can be welded to a provided machine part by the user.

Turning unit

A ball screw nut has a pair of through holes and a first passage that allows the through holes to communicate with each other and that opens radially outward. In each of the through holes, a ball screw mechanism has a circulation member having a second passage in which a ball can move between a ball raceway and the first passage. The ball screw mechanism has a circulation path for communicating the two connection points set on the ball raceway by the first passage and each of the second passages. A driven pulley has a thin portion that defines a radial clearance between an inner periphery of the driven pulley and an outer periphery of the ball screw nut. The ball screw mechanism has a pressing lid that presses down each of the circulation members from the outer periphery of the ball screw nut and that covers the first passage.

The present embodiments provide a rack-driven power assisted steering apparatus including a rack bar having an outer circumferential screw groove formed, a ball nut having an inner circumferential screw groove and a pair of first and second ball circulation holes, a nut pulley provided with a space on the inner circumferential surface spaced apart from the outer circumferential surface of the ball nut and coupled to an end of the ball nut, and a return tube disposed between the outer circumferential surface of the ball nut and the inner circumferential surface of the nut pulley.

A linear motion system comprises a guiding member, a moving member, a plurality of rolling members and a preload adjusting module. The moving member is slidably disposed on the guiding member. The moving member and the guiding member together form a circulation path. When the guiding member moves with relative to the moving member, the moving member can generate a linear movement with relative to the guiding member. The rolling members are accommodated in the circulation path. The preload adjusting module is disposed on the moving member, and comprises a preload assembly and a preload regulator. The preload regulator applies a thrust to the preload assembly to adjust a preload value generated by the rolling members and applied to the moving member.

The inner member and the outer member are assembled to each other and are respectively in communication with an inner ball race between the guider and the open nut and an outer ball race of the open nut. Therefore, the inner ball race, ball races of the two circulators, and the outer ball race form a ball circulating race, and the ball circulating assembly rolls in the ball circulating race.
