A seal housing with fluid regulating capability is provided for use with an outlet. The seal housing includes a seal element, a fitting and a valve. The seal element includes an angled flange that is fittable to the outlet and a seal element body from which the angled flange extends. The seal element body defines a bore extending between opposite open ends of the body and receptive of fluid from the outlet. The fitting is configured to tightly engage with the outlet and to urge the angled flange against the outlet with increasing pressure as fitting-outlet engagement proceeds. A valve is constrained within the bore and configured to regulate a flow of the fluid, which is received from the outlet, through the bore.

A pipe connection system comprising interconnection elements and flow elements is presented. The interconnection elements of the system contain a cylindrical surface in which is formed an annular locking groove. The annular locking groove of is generally of the same radius of curvature as another, oppositely directed or mirror image, annular locking groove formed in the flow elements. When either a flow element is inserted into a flow passage of an interconnection element, an alignment feature controls the insertion depth of flow element into the interconnection element such that the annular locking groove of the flow element aligns with the oppositely curved annular locking groove of the interconnection element to form a locking annulus.

Pipe joint

A pipe joint for joining pipe sections via a receiving recess at one end of the first pipe section including a first groove formed in an internal wall of the receiving recess and accessible via a transverse insertion passage, a plurality of axially spaced-apart second grooves formed in an external wall of a connection end of the second pipe section, and an elongate flexible anchoring strip including a plurality of axially spaced-apart anchoring portions placeable in respective ones of the second grooves, wherein, once the first and plurality of second grooves have been brought into alignment upon insertion of the connection end of the second pipe section into the receiving recess, the anchoring strip is inserted from outside the first pipe section into the first groove and plurality of second grooves so as to be seated therein, thereby uniting and axially locking together the first and second pipe sections.
