TOBACCO/MARIJUANA/HEMP PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TOBACCO/MARIJUANA/HEMP PRODUCT FOR USE IN VAPING DEVICE
A method for preparing a wetted vaping product for use with a vaping device includes providing dried leaf matter having been dried to remove moisture content therefrom; one of wetting, soaking, and immersing the dried leaf matter in a solvent; rehydrating the leaf matter with the solvent to increase overall weight of the dried leaf matter at least 5% to 10%; and sizing the leaf matter before and/or after the act of wetting, soaking, and immersing to fit within the vaping device. Another method includes providing leaf matter containing plant oil; mixing the leaf matter and a liquid solvent by immersing and/or soaking the leaf matter with the liquid solvent in a sterile container for at least 30 days; extracting liquid from the mixture of leaf matter and the liquid solvent; and filtering the separated liquid to remove the leaf matter of 3.5 microns to larger from the separated liquid.
Nicotine Oral Delivery Composition
A nicotine oral delivery composition includes a source of nicotine and a proflavour compound, wherein the proflavour compound includes a flavour component and a support component joined by an enzymatically cleavable bond, wherein the nicotine oral delivery compound is in solid form, and wherein the enzymatically cleavable bond is not a glycosidic bond.
AEROSOL GENERATING COMPOSITION COMPRISING NICOTINE AND ACID OR NICOTINE SALT
An aerosol-generating material having aerosol generating compositions, consumables for use within a non-combustible aerosol provision system and non-combustible aerosol provision systems. The consumables can include the aerosol-generating composition. The aerosol-generating composition can include an aerosol-generating material, wherein the aerosol-generating material includes about 1 to about 30 wt % nicotine, about 15 to about 80 wt % gelling agent, about 10 to about 60 wt % aerosol-former material, about 1 to about 30 wt % acid; and optionally filler, wherein the molar ratio of nicotine to acid is 2.2:1 or less.
Aerosol-generating article with high aerosol former content
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: a substrate portion containing an aerosol-forming substrate; and a connect portion disposed at one end of the aerosol-generating article in direct abutment with the substrate portion, the connect portion having a tubular empty core structure, the substrate portion having a length of between 20 millimeters and 60 millimeters, and a diameter of between 4 millimeters and 7 millimeters, the aerosol-forming substrate including an aerosol former, and an amount of the aerosol former ranges between 6 percent and 20 percent by weight on a dry weight basis of the aerosol-forming substrate. An aerosol-generating system including the aerosol-generating article and an aerosol-generating device, and a method for manufacturing the aerosol-generating article, are also provided.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE HAVING AEROSOL-GENERATING SUBSTRATE WITH DUAL PLUGS
A heated aerosol-generating article may include a rod of aerosol-generating substrate including: a first plug of homogenized tobacco material; and a second plug of homogenized tobacco material. The first plug and the second plug may be coaxially aligned. The first plug may be provided downstream of the second plug. The first plug and the second plug may differ from each other in at least one property of the homogenized tobacco material such that upon heating of the aerosol-generating substrate, the first plug releases aerosol after a shorter time than the second plug.
INCORPORATION OF AMMONIA RELEASE COMPOUNDS IN SMOKING ARTICLES
A tobacco smoking mixture including an ammonia-release compound adapted to be formed into a lit-end cigarette is provided. The ammonia-release compound is incorporated in or on tobacco cut filler in an amount effective to reduce the cytotoxicity, and/or selective smoke constituents of cigarette smoke. Exemplary ammonia-release compounds include ammonium acetate, ammonium hydroxide, hexammine cobalt (III) chloride, hexammine cobalt (III) acetate, and combinations thereof. The ammonia-release compounds can release ammonia at temperatures between about 60 C. and about 400 C. Ammonia-release compounds can be combined with additives, such as glycerine, cobalt acetate, copper (II) acetate, zinc acetate, other metal salts or combinations thereof, to further reduce the cytotoxicity of cigarette smoke.
Filter for a smoking article or an aerosol generating product
A filter for a smoking article or an aerosol generating product comprising a first filter section and a second filter section, the second filter section being located downstream of the first filter section the first filter section comprising filter material and two or more capsules comprising additive, the capsules being disposed in an axial region proximal a longitudinal axis of the filler and being spaced in sequence in a direction along the axis; the second filter section comprising at least one channel located in an axial region of the second filter section proximal a longitudinal axis of the filter, to facilitate, in use, drawing of an aerosol through the axial region of the first filter section in which the capsules are disposed.
Aerosol generating article comprising triple capsule and aerosol generating system using the same
Provided are an aerosol generating article and an aerosol generating system using the same. The aerosol generating article includes a first portion containing a mouthpiece portion; and a second portion that is arranged adjacent to the first portion and includes a capsule, wherein the capsule includes a core region, a first shell, and a second shell, and the core region of the capsule includes nicotine and an aerosol generating material.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN AEROSOL-FORMING SUBSTRATE AND AEROSOL-FORMING SUBSTRATE
The invention relates to a method for producing an aerosol-forming substrate comprising: providing a cellulose based strengthening agent, providing a binder, mixing of hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, water and an aerosol-former to form a first slurry, the first slurry having a viscosity of between 0.9 Pa s and 5 Pa s, and combining the cellulose based strengthening agent, the binder and the first slurry in order to obtain a final slurry, and drying the final slurry to obtain the aerosol-forming substrate. This method provides a first slurry having reduced viscosity and less water content.
Aerosol generating article
An aerosol generating article includes: a first portion comprising an aerosol generating material; a second portion comprising a tobacco material including a moisturizing agent; a third portion configured to cool airflow that has passed through the first portion and the second portion; a fourth portion comprising a filter material; and a wrapper that surrounds the first portion, the second portion, the third portion, wherein the second portion includes the moisturizing agent in an amount of 10 wt % or less based on a total weight of the tobacco material such that heat conductivity in the second portion is improved.
