Compressor systems and heat exchangers
A compressor system includes a compressor having a discharge port; and a shell and tube heat exchanger fluidly coupled to the discharge port. The heat exchanger includes a shell and a tube bundle disposed inside the shell. The shell includes a first flat portion extending along a longitudinal axis of the shell from a first end of the shell to a second end of the shell, and a second flat portion parallel to the first flat portion and extending along the longitudinal axis between the first end and the second end. The tube bundle is positioned between the first flat portion and the second flat portion, and extends along the longitudinal axis between the first end of the shell and the second end of the shell.
Heat exchanger
A heat exchanger having a core. A header is on a side of the core, and a tank is brazed to the header. A connector is brazed to an outer surface of the tank. A welding aperture is defined by the tank beneath the connector. A weld at the welding aperture secures the connector to the tank prior to brazing of the connector and the tank together.
Refrigerant distributor for aluminum coils
A method and system are described for a refrigerant distributor, and for attaching the distributor tubes to an evaporator coil. A short tube can inserted into the bell end of a tube and the bell end can be crimped around the short tube to lock it into place. The short tube preferably has a bead or widened shaft around which to crimp the bell. The disclosure is particularly beneficial for aluminum based components because aluminum is more susceptible to blockages or leaking due to problems from brazing.
Refrigerant pipe, method of manufacturing the refrigerant pipe, and heat exchanger including the refrigerant pipe
A refrigerant pipe is provided to be capable of preventing a change in a length by which the refrigerant pipe is inserted after the refrigerant pipe is inserted. The refrigerant pipe includes a heat-exchanger-side pipe having a pipe component insertion flare formed at an end portion of the heat-exchanger-side pipe and at least one protrusion formed on an inner peripheral portion of the pipe component insertion flare, and a pipe component having a smaller outer diameter than an inner diameter of the pipe component insertion flare. A height of the at least one protrusion is greater than a dimension of a clearance defined on the basis of a difference between the inner diameter of the pipe component insertion flare and the outer diameter of the pipe component. The pipe component is inserted into the pipe component insertion flare, and the pipe component has a groove formed by the at least one protrusion.
Heat exchange tube for heat exchanger, heat exchanger and assembly method thereof
A heat exchange tube (51) for a heat exchanger, heat exchanger and assembly method thereof. The heat exchange tube (51) is a combined heat exchange tube having a space (55) at its center, and the space (55) is configured to accommodate an insertion member (57), such that the combined heat exchange tube is expanded in and joined with a corresponding fin hole (53) in the heat exchanger. A heat exchange tube that is minute or has a small inner diameter can thus be expanded in a heat exchanger fin without employing a brazing process.
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE AND CORRESPONDING PRODUCTION METHOD
A heat exchanger for a method vehicle and a method of producing a heat exchanger are disclosed. The heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger block closed by a side part. The heat exchanger block has a tube bottom including a deformable hook, and the side part includes a tab provided complementary to a corner region of the tube bottom. The tab has a section, that abuts on a front side of the tube bottom, that includes a through opening or depression. A material portion of the hook is displaced through the through opening or depression via a graining in an assembled state, such that the axes of the through opening and the graining are offset and parallel to one another.
HEAT EXCHANGER AND AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
A heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer tubes, a first header, a second header, and a plurality of fins. The heat exchanger constitutes a portion of a refrigeration cycle circuit in which refrigerant circulates. The second header includes a header pipe. The header pipe has an entrance portion. A bypass pipe is disposed between the entrance portion and the first header and configured to bypass refrigerant. The bypass pipe protrudes into the header pipe to be connected to the header pipe. The bypass pipe is provided with a flow control mechanism configured to control a flow rate of refrigerant.
COLLECTOR TUBE FOR A HEAT EXCHANGER
A collector tube for a heat exchanger having at least one flat tube, may include a base and a cover arranged opposite the base. The base and the cover may define a longitudinal duct. The base may include at least one passage having an opening configured to accommodate the at least one flat tube of the heat exchanger. The opening may have at least one wide edge and at least one narrow edge. The longitudinal duct may have, in a cross section, a diameter that is smaller than the at least one wide edge of the opening. The at least one passage may include a collar extending away from the longitudinal duct.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger can include a plurality of flat tubes each having a heat exchange channel for a flow of a heat exchange medium, and a first collector pipe and a second collector pipe connected to distal sections of the plurality of flat tubes and disposed side by side. Chambers of the first collector pipe and the second collector pipe can be in communication with the heat exchange channels of the flat tubes. The flat tube includes a main body section, a distal section, and a torsion section connected therebetween. The main body section and the distal sections can be straight sections. The first collector pipe and the second collector pipe can be provided with mounting holes for the distal section being inserted into. A length direction of the mounting hole can be inclined to the axis of the first collector pipe or the axis of the second collector pipe.
HEAT TRANSFER DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A device for heat transfer between a first fluid and a second fluid includes an assembly of tube elements for conducting the fluid and have a first, nondeformed region and a second, deformed region, disposed at an end of the tube element. A tube plate with passage apertures and a sealing element with passage apertures are provided. The sealing element is disposed between an outer surface of the second region of a tube element and an edge of a rim of the passage aperture of the tube plate. Tube elements are developed as flat tubes with flow channels. Flow channels are separated from one another by an internal structure element. A system and a method for the manufacture of the device are also provided.
