Adjustable magazine well
A rifle includes a magazine well, a barrel, an exo-bolt, and a rear magazine support. The barrel is detachably coupled to the magazine well. The barrel includes a forward barrel portion on an end of the barrel opposite the magazine well. The exo-bolt is configured to travel along an exterior of the barrel. The rear magazine support is coupled to the magazine well and opposite the barrel. The rear magazine support is configured to come forward toward the barrel and be secured in a plurality of distances from the barrel to adjust a length of the magazine well.

A bolt assembly for a rimmed-cartridge firearm has a bolt head on a forward end. An extractor is located on the bolt head and engages at least a portion of a rim of a rimmed cartridge without engaging a front surface of the rim, the extractor retaining the rim adjacent the bolt head.

According to one example, a receiver for a self-loading firearm, includes a first guide track within which a loading lever can be moved to move a loading tube that can be brought into contact with, or is in contact with a breechblock; a second guide track connected to the first guide track, wherein the loading lever can be shifted to the second guide track via a first opening in the receiver to move the loading tube, such that the loading lever can be operated ambidextrously. Other examples are contemplated.
