Switching valve, switching hydraulic system and crane

The present application relates to a switching valve, a switching hydraulic system, and a crane, in which the switching valve having an oil inlet and an oil outlet comprises at least two pairs of valve oil ports, a pair of cartridge valves provided between each pair of valve oil ports, and the oil inlet and the oil outlet are controlled such that the oil inlet and the oil outlet are capable of shifting between communications with the at least two pairs of valve oil ports. The switching valve switches on and off communication between the oil inlet and the oil outlet and the at least two pairs of valve oil ports by controlling opening or closing of the cartridge valves.

ENGINEERED TISSUE SUBSTITUTE SYSTEM

Compositions and methods of preparation and use are provided for an engineered tissue substitute system comprising collagen, glycosaminoglycan and hydrogel in a cross-linked matrix. The compositions may be further lyophilized and reconstituted with a physiological fluid prior to use in methods, such as in the treatment of wounds, tissue engineering and cell transplantation.

VARIABLE PRESSURE VESSEL
20180347595 · 2018-12-06 ·

The present disclosure relates to a variable pressure vessel. The vessel includes a liquid chamber and a gas chamber and a moveable barrier therebetween. The vessel has a volume, a first stroke, and a second stroke. The liquid chamber and the gas chamber each have a variable volume that changes responsive to the first stroke and the second stroke. The gas chamber has an outer wall wherein at least a portion of the outer wall is thermally conductive and allows heat to transfer therethrough. Movement of the moveable barrier between the liquid chamber and the gas chamber causes the volume in the liquid chamber and the volume in the gas chamber to displace each other. The volume in the gas chamber plus the volume in the liquid chamber is generally constant and generally equals the volume in the variable pressure vessel.

ENGINEERED TISSUE SUBSTITUTE SYSTEM

The present invention is a new and improved bladder for use with a piston accumulator apparatus, system and method of using same that provides a dispersion tube in the bladder to allow to be communicated under a vacuum from the bladder to the accumulator seawater chamber and back again.

METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A BLADDER ACCUMULATOR AND BLADDER ACCUMULATOR PRODUCED ACCORDING TO SAID METHOD

The invention relates to a method for the production of a bladder accumulator (10) which separates two media chambers (16, 18) from one another in a storage housing (12) by means of a bladder body (14), comprising at least the following production steps:extruding a plastic tube over the bladder body (14);shaping the plastic tube with the integrated bladder body (14) in a molding tool that corresponds to a predeterminable plastic core container (20), andwinding at least one plastic fiber from the outside on the plastic core container (20) for the purpose of creating the storage housing (12).

Bladder surge suppressor

A bladder and attachment member assembly for use with a container comprises an elastomeric gas-filled bladder comprising a valve stem. A first attachment member is disposed over the valve stem within the container with the bladder. A second attachment member is disposed over the valve stem and over the first attachment member. The second attachment member is outside of the container interposed between the valve stem and a container opening. Rotational movement of the valve stem is fixed relative to one or both of the first and second attachment members. In an example, the valve stem comprises one or more surface features that register with one or more surface features of the first and/or second attachment member to thereby fix relative valve stem rotational movement. In an example, the valve stem surface feature is a flat surface that registers with a flat surface of the second attachment member inside diameter.

Distributed piston elastomeric accumulator
09920775 · 2018-03-20 · ·

The present invention is a distributed piston elastomeric accumulator which stores energy when its elastomeric member stretches from its original length in response to the flow of a pressurized fluid. The stored energy is returned when the fluid flow is reversed and the accumulator discharges the fluid as its elastomeric member returns to its original length and moves the piston to its initial position. At least one part of the novelty of the invention is that the accumulator is not subject to radial strain gradients and the accumulator allows for precise pressure and linear position measurements. Accordingly, the invention allows for optimization of the energy strain storage capacity of a given elastomer.

Metallic liner pressure vessel comprising polar boss

The present invention provides a Type 3 pressure vessel comprising a polar boss that is attached to a metallic liner and provides reinforced static strength, fatigue strength, endurance, chemical resistance and/or corrosion resistance of the liner orifice or neck region. In particular, the material of the polar boss has higher static strength, fatigue strength, endurance, chemical resistance and/or corrosion resistance relative to that of the liner material.
