GRAPHENE ADSORBING MATERIAL, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR AND APPLICATION THEREOF, AND CIGARETTE FILTER TIP AND CIGARETTE
A graphene adsorbing material, a preparation method therefor and application thereof, and a cigarette filter tip and a cigarette are provided. The graphene adsorbing material comprises a fiber carrier, graphene and doped elements wherein the graphene and the doped elements are loaded on the fiber carrier and the doped elements comprise at least one of Al, Si and Fe. The graphene adsorbing material is obtained by contacting the fibers with the graphene material to load the graphene material on the fibers. By introducing the graphene and the doped elements in the fiber carrier, harmful substances with a type of fused aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzopyrene in smoke can be specifically adsorbed, filtered and removed; while nicotine and the other harmless substances are retained, and thus the smoking taste of a cigarette is not affected. The cigarette filter tip can effectively adsorb cancerogenic substances with a type of fused aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzopyrene in smoke to reduce harm of smoking; meanwhile, the pleasure of smoking and the mellow taste of the smoke are not affected. Besides, the graphene adsorbing material can also prevent the phenomenon that a cigarette holder gets mildewed due to humid environment and the other factors.
ACTIVATED CARBON BEADS FOR SMOKING ARTICLES
Smoking article include a smokable material and an activated carbon particle downstream of the smokable material. The activated carbon particle is produced from a whole seed. The activated carbon particle has a length, width and height. At least two of the length width and height are independently in a range from about 1 mm to about 7.5 mm. The particles can be spheroids, in which case the length, width and height would be the same or similar.
Smoking apparatus and method
Apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may be a pipe that includes heat transfer materials that have a thermal conductivity of greater than 50 Watts per meter Kelvin. Heat transfer materials may include one or more solid heat sinks (that are rigidly connected to each other or to a portion of the pipe), Peltier devices, or loose fill of a desired size or shape. Fill included in the pipe may also absorb particulate matter or volatile organic compounds. As a user burns or vaporizes materials at one end of the pipe and sucks heated smoke or vapor into the pipe, that user may inhale cool and clean smoke or vapor. Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may allow a controller at the pipe to send sensor or consumption data to other electronic devices when a number of milligrams of a substance inhaled by a patient are monitored.
Smoking filter
The present disclosure relates to a filter for a smoking device, such as, but not limited to, a water pipe. The filter includes a body that is positionable over a mouthpiece of the smoking device, to filter impurities from smoke drawn therethrough, and a base that secures the body over the mouthpiece such that smoke is drawn therethrough, prior to inhalation by a user. The body can include one of more filtration layers, such as a first layer formed from a material selected to filter carcinogens and other impurities from the smoke prior to inhalation, and a second layer formed from a material selected to minimize or prevent the transmission of bacteria, viruses, or other contagions from a user's mouth to the smoking device. Each of the filtration layers can also be formed from one or more materials.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING FRAGRANCE CAPSULE OF TOBACCO
A method for manufacturing a fragrance capsule of tobacco according to an embodiment of this disclosure may comprise: a membrane manufacturing step for manufacturing a membrane of a fragrance capsule by a membrane manufacturing part which manufactures a membrane; a capsule manufacturing step for manufacturing the fragrance capsule using an apparatus for manufacturing a capsule with the membrane manufactured during the membrane manufacturing step and a fragrance liquid to be held in the membrane; and a hardening step for hardening the fragrance capsule.
FILTERS FOR SMOKING ARTICLES HAVING HIGH ADDITIVE(S) LOADINGS
The present invention relates to improvements in filters, for use in smoking articles, comprising randomly oriented discrete fibres, wherein a loss of particulate additives can be reduced by adding a liquid with a viscosity of at least 2000 m Pa*s at 20 C. and normal pressure.
Porous carbon materials and smoking articles and smoke filters therefor incorporating such materials
A porous carbon material suitable for incorporation in smoke filters for cigarettes has a BET surface area of at least 800 m.sup.2/g and a pore structure that includes mesopores and micropores. The pore volume (as measured by nitrogen adsorption) is at least 0.9 cm.sup.3/g and from 15 to 65% of the pore volume is in mesopores. The pore structure of the material provides a bulk density generally less than 0.5 g/cc. The material may be produced by carbonizing and activating organic resins and may be in the form of beads for ease of handling.
A Smoking Article and Mouthpiece Therefor
The invention relates to a smoking article (1) comprising a smoking article rod portion (2) having a recess (13) and a mouthpiece (81, 91, 101) attachable to the smoking article rod portion. The mouthpiece includes an elongate cylindrical element (20) arranged to be inserted into the recess by a user. The cylindrical element comprises an outer surface having at least one circumferentially extending raised area (83, 103), and the at least one circumferentially extending raised area is configured to engage with an inner surface of the recess to prevent or restrict air flow between the inner surface of the recess and an outer surface of the mouth piece.
PAPER TUBE
The present invention provides a mouthpiece or filter element (e.g., for a smoking article such as a cigarette, a tobacco heating product, a HNB product) comprising a longitudinally extending (e.g., substantially cylindrical) hollow tube of paper; a filler layer comprising paper filtering material and/or other biodegradable filtering material engaged around the hollow tube along the full (e.g., longitudinal) length of the hollow tube; and a wrapper (e.g., plugwrap) engaged around the filler layer along the full (e.g., longitudinal) length of the filler layer, wherein the hollow tube, the filler layer and the wrapper are the same length.
SHEET FOR FLAVOR INHALATION ARTICLE
This sheet for a flavor inhalation article includes (A) adsorption particles in the amount of 20 g/m.sup.2 or more. (B) pulp, and (C) polyester fibers.
