Disclosed is a brake component assembly for a vehicle wheel brake, comprising a first component and a second component, wherein the first and second component are movable relative to one another for engaging and releasing the vehicle wheel brake, wherein a self-lubricating material is provided that is configured to lubricate at least one pair of surfaces that contact one another and that are movable relative to one another when moving the first and second component relative to one another, wherein the self-lubricating material is elastically deformable.

BUSHING FOR BRAKE CALIPER GUIDE ROD FASTENERS

A vehicle disc brake assembly includes a brake caliper. The brake caliper has a lug through which a bore extends, the bore having an axis. A guide rod fastener extends through the bore and is secured to a guide rod. An elastic bushing is in the bore between the lug and the guide rod fastener, wherein a circumference of the bushing contacts the lug. A radial clearance is between the lug and the guide rod fastener. The radial clearance is perpendicular to the axis.

Guide Assembly for a Disc Brake

A guide assembly for a disc brake, the guide assembly comprising a bore disposed in a disc brake caliper for receiving a guide pin. The bore comprises a first bore portion with a substantially circular cross-sectional profile and a second bore portion with a substantially circular cross-sectional profile arranged sequentially along the length of the bore and tangentially offset such that the bore is defined by the overlap of the first bore portion and second bore portion and has a lens-shaped cross-sectional profile.

Motor vehicle disc brake having reduced transverse clearance between pins and bores

A motor vehicle disc brake includes a cover with two tiered bores of parallel axes, each bore includes at least one first section; a caliper slidably mounted axially with respect to the cover by two pins of parallel axes rigidly connected to the caliper and each including at least one guiding section which is slidably mounted, with a radial clearance, in the tiered bore of the cover; and brake, wherein a cylindrical outer guiding surface of the sliding guiding section of each pin includes at least two opposed axial portions, extending angularly about the axis of each pin according to an angle less than 90, a median axial plane of the two portions being parallel with a plane passing through the axes of the two pins.

A caliper brake may include a carrier fixedly installed on a vehicle body and including a guide hole, a guide rod slidably inserted in the guide hole of the carrier, and a caliper housing coupled to the guide rod to be movable together with the guide rod with respect to the carrier. An end portion of the guide rod may be fixedly coupled to a coupling hole formed at the caliper housing, and the guide hole is formed in a protruding part of the carrier protruding toward an inside of the vehicle body.

GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR A DISC BRAKE

A caliper guide assembly for a heavy vehicle disc brake, the guide assembly comprising a guide pin, a guide bore arranged to receive the guide pin and permit relative axial sliding thereof, a bush arranged to define at least part of the guide bore, and a sensor arrangement configured to provide an output indicative of a state of wear of the bush. The sensor arrangement is configured to continuously detect a state of wear of the bush.

Brake caliper guide pin low pressure isolation damper

A disc brake assembly comprises an anchor bracket, a guide pin, a main damper, and an isolation damper. The anchor bracket has a bore. The guide pin is slidably supported in the bore and has a stem. The main damper is between the stem and an interior surface of the bore. The isolation damper is also between the stem and the interior surface. The isolation damper limits contact between the stem and the interior surface.

Vehicle electric braking device

A mount member is fixed to a support member by first and second fastening members, and a caliper is mounted to the mount member by first and second guide members. A motor axis of an electric motor and an axis of a shaft member configured to press a pressing member are different from each other. The electric motor is fixed to the caliper. When viewed from an axial direction of the first guide member, the motor axis is positioned inside a fastening quadrangle having four corners corresponding to positions of respective axes of, and is perpendicular to the axis, and the motor axis is orthogonal to a plane of the fastening quadrangle. As a result, there may be provided a vehicle electric braking device in which an axial direction dimension may be reduced to suppress an amplitude caused by vibration, and components sensitive to vibration influence are appropriately arranged.
