An electrical conduit spacing device to organize spacing of an electrical conduit at a predetermined location, the electrical conduit spacing device including a main body, a plurality of magnetic portions disposed on a first side of the main body and a second side of the main body opposite with respect to the first side to attract the electrical conduit thereto, a plurality of measuring sticks perpendicularly disposed on at least a portion of a bottom surface of the main body with respect to a direction to indicate a distance of a space between the electrical conduit, and another object or surface, and a butterfly nut disposed on at least a portion of the main body to move at least one of the plurality of measuring sticks in response to movement of the butterfly nut.

Surgical depth instrument having neuromonitoring capabilities

A device configured to provide a faster and more accurate measurement of depths of holes for placement of bone screws and fastener for bone implant fixation procedures. The device includes a combination of a bone probe for physical examination of a hole drilled in a bone and a depth gauge member for determining a depth of the hole and providing digital measurement of the depth via a display on the instrument and/or via a wireless exchange of measurement data to a remote computing device, such as a tablet or smartphone. The device may further be connected to a separate neuromonitoring device and be used for nerve sensing and/or nerve stimulation by way of the bone probe. For example, the bone probe may include a conductive material such that the distal probe tip acts as an extension of the neuromonitoring device and may be used to sense and/or stimulate nerves.

Multiple display electronic caliper

In addition to other aspects disclosed, a caliper is configured to measure at least one physical dimension. The caliper has a display configured to present a first representation and a second representation of a measurement provided by the caliper. The format of the first representation is different from the format of the second representation, and the first representation is approximately simultaneously displayed with the second representation.

Narrow stock rip guide cutting system
11168965 · 2021-11-09 · ·

A system for cutting narrow workpieces having a track that extends a width between a cutting edge and a non-cutting edge. One or more measuring bodies are connected to a slot adjacent the non-cutting edge that include a measuring bar that extends forward from the front side of the measuring body and under the track as well as extends rearward from the rear side of the measuring body. The measuring bar slides within the measuring body to accommodate the desired workpiece thickness. The measuring bar includes measuring indicia and a measuring member that facilitates measurement of workpiece thickness. Measuring body includes a locking member that locks the measuring bar at a desired thickness. Measuring member may be adjusted to calibrate the measuring member to the track and saw using a locking member. Measuring body also includes a support leg and associated locking mechanism that levels the measuring body.

Transmitter and receiver configuration for inductive position encoder
11169008 · 2021-11-09 · ·

An electronic position encoder includes a scale and detector. The detector includes a field generating coil (FGC) having elongated portion configurations (EPCs) bounding a generated field area (GFA) aligned with sensing elements in a sensing area, to provide position signals responsive to the scale interacting with the generated field. Sensing elements and EPCs are fabricated in “front” layers of the detector portion. The EPCs include end gradient arrangements (EGAs) configured to reduce field strength in the generated field area as a function of position along the x-axis direction for positions approaching the end of the GFA. A shielded transverse conductor portion (TCP) fabricated in a “rear” layer connects the EPCs and/or EGAs of the FGC via feedthroughs. A conductive shield region (CSR) configuration in a CSR layer between the front and rear layers intercepts at least a majority of a projection of the TCP toward the front layers.

Inductive Sensor Device with Cross Coupled Tracks

A control unit (32) is provided and communicatively coupled with the transmitter circuit (30) and the receiver circuit (31). The first scale elements (28) have a first flux modulating property and a second flux modulating property, that are different to each other, wherein each flux modulating property is adapted to modulate a magnetic field created by the first or second transmitter coil (34, 35) dependent from the position of a movement of the sensor unit (25) in measuring direction (x). In so doing independent position information can be created by only one track (26) of scale elements (28) by modulating the first magnetic field (B1) from the first transmitter coil (34) and the second magnetic field (B2) from the second transmitter coil (35).

Methods and apparatus to count people

Methods and apparatus to count people are disclosed. Example apparatus disclosed herein are to populate a list with first characteristic datasets obtained from a first plurality of images, respective ones of the first characteristic datasets representative of corresponding faces. Disclosed apparatus are also to perform comparisons of the first characteristic datasets to each other to determine a first number of unique faces, the comparisons limited to the first characteristic datasets obtained during the first period of time. Disclosed apparatus are further to delete the first characteristic datasets from the list after the first period of time has ended, and re-populate the list with second characteristic datasets obtained from a second plurality of images representative of the environment during a second period of time of the media presentation, the second period of time subsequent to the first period of time.
