LEVER INDICATOR
The lever indicator includes a housing, a measuring lever, a displacement sensor and a microcontroller. After extending to the interior of the housing, a tail end of the measuring lever synchronously swings with the displacement sensor for measurement. The microcontroller is located in the housing, and amends and calculates a measurement result according to a signal generated by the swinging of the displacement sensor, and a liquid crystal display for displaying the measurement result is further arranged outside the housing. The displacement sensor includes a fixing grid and a moving grid of a sector structure. The fixing grid is fixed inside the housing, and is correspondingly located above the tail end of the measuring lever. The moving grid is fixed onto the tail end of the measuring lever and swings relative to the fixing grid after linked with the measuring lever.
Method for controlling small-sized measurement device
There is provided a method for controlling a small-sized adjustable measuring force measurement device capable of appropriately setting the origin. A central control unit changes an operation mode to an origin setting mode in response to predetermined mode changing operation. The central control unit sets a counter value of an encoder to zero as an origin when a measuring force detecting means detects that a movable member is brought into contact with an object to be measured at a predetermined pressure in the origin setting mode.
HANDHELD MECHANICAL GAUGE, AND METHOD FOR MEASURING TREAD DEPTH OF A VEHICLE TIRE
A mechanical gauge includes a stock panel with a first measurement scale, and a slide movably arranged relative to the stock panel. The first measurement scale has a series of marks spaced apart at regular intervals within a region of interest. The slide includes a second measurement scale adapted to selectively overlie the first measurement scale within the region of interest. The second measurement scale has a second series of marks spaced apart at regular intervals corresponding to the first series of marks of the first measurement scale. An elongated measurement probe is affixed to the slide and adapted for selectively extending into a groove formed in the tread of the vehicle tire.
PIPE DIMENSIONAL MEASUREMENT TOOL
A tool for determining variations in outer diameter of a pipe. The tool may have a pair of contact arms configured for engaging with opposing sides of a pipe. The contact arms may be biased toward one another, and at least one of the arms may be configured to slide toward and away from the other. As the contact arms are moved along an outer surface of a pipe, a distance between the arms may change in response to variations in outer diameter of the pipe. A plunger gauge may be arranged on one of the contact arms with its plunger directed toward the other arm. The plunger may extend or depress in response to a decreased or increased distance between the contact arms. An alignment shoe may align the contact arms with at least X and Z axes of the pipe so as to help ensure accurate pipe measurements.
Connection unit for connecting external device to measurement device
A connection unit for connecting an external device to a main device is provided. A connection unit 100 includes a main body part 200 including a main connector terminal 220 to be connected to a connection port of a main device, a sub body part 300 including a sub connector terminal 320 to be connected to a connection port of an external device, and an electric cable 500 electrically connecting the main connector terminal 220 to the sub connector terminal 320. The main body part 200 and the sub body part 300 are united by engaging by an engaging means that is engageable and disengageable, and vary a relative position between the main body part 200 and the sub body part 300 by disengaging by the engaging means. The external device is electrically connected to the main device and is simultaneously attached to the main device by connecting the main device to the external device with the connection unit 100 while the main body part 200 and the sub body part 300 are united.
