Building inspection and measurement device
An inspection and measurement device includes a body defining a first planar face within a first bounded area, a first reference feature disposed on the first planar face within the first bounded area and corresponding with a first measurable parameter, and at least a second reference feature disposed on the first planar face within the first bounded area and corresponding with a second measurable parameter. The first and second reference features are positioned within the first bounded area for placement adjacent an element bearing the respective one of the first and second measurable parameters. The first and second reference features overlap within the first bounded area in at least one direction.
Adjustable T-square
An adjustable T-square device and method of use is shown and described herein. The adjustable T-square has a plurality of apertures with at least one locking detent to set precise angles. The adjustable T-square has a locking pin to further engage a ruler portion to a head portion to minimize error when using the device.

Portable optical shaft profile wear measurement gage
Portable shaft wear measurement devices for, and methods of, measuring gage wear of driving elements, e.g., splines or keyways, on drive shafts, having at least one standard having a profile matching the profile of the driving element, the device being capable of disposing over the shaft when it is still attached to the machine that provides the driving force, so that when the device is installed over the shaft, the standard is capable of some angular rotation around a central axis, the degree of angular rotation being limited by the amount of wear of the driving elements, an indicator mechanism magnifying the amount of indication of wear by disposing the indicator radially outwardly of the central axis. A method of measurement using such a device, and a method of statistical regression analysis of wear of a shaft over time alerts when the shaft requires replacement.

Measuring system
A measuring system comprising a measuring apparatus including a first portion comprising a first casing, a first length measuring body, a first length measuring device, and a first reference point. A first end of the first length measuring body is attached to the first casing, a second end extends away from the first casing, the first length measuring device measures a first distance between the second end and the first reference point; a second portion comprising a second casing, a second length measuring body, a second length measuring device, and a second reference point. A first end of the second length measuring body is attached to the second casing, a second end extends away from the second casing, the second length measuring device measures a second distance between the second end and the second reference point. The first and second portion are coupled and rotate relative to each other.

Knife sharpeners with angle gauge
Systems, devices, and methods for providing different types of sharpeners for knives with a removable angle gauge to determine which knife sharpener to use for individual knives. The sharpener can include three angle sizes of honing ceramic dual wheel sharpeners, three angle sizes of edge shaving diamond coated dual wheel sharpeners, and three angle sizes of new edge blade tungsten rod sharpeners. One angle size can cover approximately 13 degrees to approximately 15 degrees, and include 14 degrees. An angle size can cover approximately 16 degrees to approximately 18 degrees and include 17 degrees. And a third angle size can cover approximately 19 degrees to approximately 21 degrees and include 20 degrees. The removable angle gauge can be a generally rectangular plate with a plurality of grooves, that cover an approximately 13 degree groove, an approximately 14 degree groove, an approximately 15 degree groove, an approximately 16 degree groove, an approximately 17 degree groove, an approximately 18 degree groove, an approximately 19 degree groove, an approximately 20 degree groove, and an approximately 21 degree groove.

Angle measuring assembly
An angle measuring assembly includes a protractor that is positionable against an inclined member. The protractor has angle indicia printed thereon and pitch indicia printed thereon. A bubble level is coupled to the protractor to indicate the angle of a top surface of the inclined member. A first wand is pivotally coupled to the protractor to facilitate the user to measure cutting angles on lumber. A second wand is pivotally coupled to the protractor and the second wand is aligned with respective angle indicia and respective pitch indicia when the protractor is positioned against a bottom surface of the inclined member. In this way the second wand indicate the angle and pitch of the bottom surface.
