The device (3) for testing a timepiece shaft (1) having at least one first pivot (10, 10′) and an axis of rotation (A1), the device including a rest (2) having two supports (12, 12′) intended to accommodate the timepiece shaft (1), at least one of the two supports (12) being intended to accommodate the at least one first pivot (10), an element (4; 4′) for applying a mechanical force to the timepiece shaft, positioned such that this force is at least partially taken up by the support (12) at the at least one first pivot (10). The element (4; 4′) for applying a mechanical force is arranged such that the timepiece shaft (1) is driven in rotation by a relative movement of the element (4; 4′) for applying a mechanical force and the rest (2).

A length measuring apparatus for use in combination with a cutting device having a cutting blade to measure length of a workpiece cut by the cutting blade comprises a slide rail which is secured relative to the cutting device when length is measured; and a sliding unit that is slidably mounted to the slide rail, the sliding unit having a sliding body, a length measuring unit that measures distance along which the sliding body slides relative to the slide rail, and an arm member that comes in contact with the workpiece when the workpiece is placed at a cutting position; wherein the sliding unit further comprises an angle gauge member, mounted at that tip portion of the arm member which comes in contact with the workpiece, that comes in contact with the cutting blade and measures a cutting angle of the cutting blade.

The present invention provides a rotation angle detection method and device thereof. The method includes calculating an estimated value of a rotation angle of a motor shaft during rotation according to a second rotation angle; determining an actual range of the rotation angle according to the estimated value of the rotation angle and a detection error of the second angle sensor; determining optional values of the rotation angle based on a relative relationship between a first rotation angle and the estimated value; determining an actual rotation angle of the motor shaft, based on a value falling within the actual range of the rotation angle among the optional values, and determining an actual rotation angle of the output shaft according to the actual rotation angle of the motor shaft. The present invention can improve the measurement accuracy of the rotation angles of the output shaft of the rotating mechanism.

The present invention provides a rotation angle detection method and device thereof.
