A laser measuring system including first and second laser base stations and a laser receiver is provided. The laser receiver detects a first laser signal from the first laser base station. Location information associated with the first laser base station is extracted from the detected first laser signal. The laser receiver detects a second laser signal from the second laser base station. Location information associated with the second laser base station is extracted from the detected second laser signal. A position of the laser receiver is determined based on the extracted location information associated with the first laser base station and the extracted location information associated with the second laser base station.

The display screen includes a display region for displaying images and a non-display region surrounding the display region. The light conducting member faces the display region. At least one first light source faces at least one surface of the light conducting member. The at least one first light source is configured to emit a detection signal to the light conducting member. The light conducting member is configured to diffuse the detection signal to allow the detection signal to pass through the display region, to interact with a detection object to form a target signal. The receiving element is disposed in the display region and configured to receive the target signal.

Electrode mapping and signal orthogonality for capacitive imaging glove

A capacitive imaging glove includes electrodes implemented throughout the capacitive imaging glove and drive-sense circuits (DSCs) such that a DSC receives a reference signal generates a signal based thereon. The DSC provides the signal to a first electrode via a single line and simultaneously senses it. Note the signal is coupled from the first electrode to the second electrode via a gap therebetween. The DSC generates a digital signal representative of the electrical characteristic of the first electrode. Processing module(s), when enabled, is/are configured to execute operational instructions (e.g., stored in and/or retrieved from memory) to generate the reference signal, process the digital signal to determine the electrical characteristic of the first electrode, and process the electrical characteristic of the first electrode to determine a distance between the first electrode and the second electrode, and generate capacitive image data representative of a shape of the capacitive imaging glove.

An electromagnetic measuring probe device for measuring a thickness of a dielectric layer of a circuit board and a method thereof are disclosed. The circuit board has at least one dielectric layer, at least two conductive layers and a test area. The test area has a test pattern and a through hole. The electromagnetic measuring probe device has a probe-measuring unit, an external conductive element, plural magnetic powder groups, and a maintaining unit. The probe-measuring unit has a transparent tube and an internal conductive pin. The external conductive element electrically connects with the test pattern. The conductive layers and the internal conductive pin generate a magnetic field while the probe-measuring unit enters into the through hole. The magnetic powder groups magnetically attracted are gathered to positions corresponding to thickness-range positions of the conductive layers and held by the maintaining unit, thus a gap between the two dielectric layers is obtained.

A target configured to be used with a position sensor for sensing a position of the target is described. The target includes at least one elongated conductive loop structure for allowing eddy currents to flow therein and configured to affect a magnetic field received from the position sensor in a preferred direction along the at least one elongated conductive loop structure.

The control device performs correction processing for correcting at least one of the offset value or the gain value based on the detected signals outputted from the magnetic sensor.

In an embodiment, the method further comprises measuring a first gap distance between the sensor wafer and the process kit with a sensor on an edge surface of the sensor wafer. In an embodiment, the method further comprises displacing the process kit in the Z-direction. In an embodiment, the method further comprises measuring an additional gap distance between the sensor wafer and the process kit.
