Geodetic surveying device having automatic high-precision target point sighting functionality
A geodatic surveying device which is equipped with an automatic target point sighting functionality for determining the position of a target point. A reticle pattern that corresponds to the outer shape of the known reticle is stored, wherein a main point of the reticle pattern is predefined as indicating the target point. In order to carry out an automatic target point sighting functionality, the evaluation means are designed such that, after the function start, a camera image of the reticle is automatically recorded, the reticle pattern is aligned with the reticle in the camera image by means of image processing and, depending on a position of the main point in the camera image in the matched state of the reticle pattern, the orientation of the sighting apparatus is changed in a motorized manner such that the optical target axis OA is oriented with high precision at the target point.
GROUND CONTROL POINT ASSIGNMENT AND DETERMINATION SYSTEM
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for ground control point assignment and determination. One of the methods includes receiving information describing a flight plan for the UAV to implement, the flight plan identifying one or more waypoints associated with geographic locations assigned as ground control points. A first waypoint identified in the flight plan is traveled to, and an action to designate a surface at the associated geographic location is designated as a ground control point. Location information associated with the designated surface is stored. The stored location information is provided to an outside system for storage.

MAT FOR CARRYING OUT A PHOTOGRAMMETRY METHOD, USE OF THE MAT AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A mat for carrying out a photogrammetry method, having an upper side with a scanning surface, on which an object to be captured by means of the photogrammetry method can be placed, wherein a plurality of markers which can preferably be distinguished from one another is arranged on the scanning surface, said markers being detectable when carrying out the photogrammetry method, so as to be used during the creation of a 3D model of the object being captured by means of the photogrammetry method. The invention further specifies the use of the mat for carrying out a photogrammetry method, a computer-implemented method for the photogrammetric creation of a 3D model of an object, and a computer-readable storage medium.
ROOF SQUARE WITH BLADE LOCKING AND RELEASE MECHANISM
A roof square for marking rafters comprising a right angle triangular body with a marking blade pivotally mounted adjacent the right angle. Either side of the square adjacent the right angle is held against the stock to be marked, and the blade used to mark either a plumb cut or a foot cut. The blade retracts to allow marks to be made at a measured depth. The tool can also be used as a conventional square to make 90 and 45 degree marks.
