INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present technology relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program that allow a sensing time of a sensor to be easily and accurately determined. An information processing apparatus includes a control circuit that outputs a control signal for controlling a sensing timing of a sensor, a counter that updates a counter value in a predetermined cycle, and an addition circuit that adds, to sensor data output from the sensor, sensing time information including a first counter value, a second counter value, and a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) time in a GNSS. The first counter value is obtained when the control signal is output from the control circuit, and the second counter value is obtained when a pulse signal synchronous with the GNSS time is output from a GNSS receiver. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a vehicle-mounted camera.
ROUTE PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides a route processing method and apparatus. The solution includes: acquiring an initial traveling route, which includes a plurality of track points, corresponding to a vehicle; determining a vehicle traveling area, which includes an area where the vehicle is located when traveling to the track point, corresponding to each track point; determining at least one target track point in the plurality of track points according to the vehicle traveling area, where a first obstacle exists in the vehicle traveling area; performing updating processing on a position of each target track point in the initial traveling route respectively according to the position of the each target track point and a position of the first obstacle, and obtaining a target traveling route according to the target track point for which the updating processing has been performed; and controlling the vehicle to travel according to the target traveling route.
Navigation infrastructure for motor vehicles
A transit system includes a road, a plurality of pavement markers spaced apart along a lane line of the road, and a plurality of RF devices carried by the pavement markers. The RF devices are configured to transmit RF navigation signals to motor vehicles traveling along the road.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
[Object] To provide an information processing apparatus, a control method, and a program, which are capable of automatically sharing position information in accordance with schedule information on an appointment.
[Solution] An information processing apparatus including: an acquisition unit configured to acquire schedule information on an appointment between a plurality of users; and a controller configured to perform control in a manner that pieces of current position information of the plurality of users are shared a predetermined time period before an appointment time included in the schedule information.
Traffic Light Detection Device and Traffic Light Detection Method
A traffic light detection device includes: an image capture unit capturing an image of surroundings; a traffic light location estimation unit estimating a location of a traffic light around the vehicle and setting a traffic light search area in which the traffic light is estimated to be present; a traffic light detection unit detecting the traffic light by searching the traffic light search area on the image; and an obstruction estimation unit. When the obstruction estimation unit estimates that a continuous obstruction state where a view of the traffic light is continuously obstructed occurs in the traffic light search area, the traffic light location estimation unit selects the traffic light search area based on the continuous obstruction state.

Systems and methods for navigating a vehicle among encroaching vehicles
Systems and methods use cameras to provide autonomous navigation features. In one implementation, a method for navigating a user vehicle may include acquiring, using at least one image capture device, a plurality of images of an area in a vicinity of the user vehicle; determining from the plurality of images a first lane constraint on a first side of the user vehicle and a second lane constraint on a second side of the user vehicle opposite to the first side of the user vehicle; enabling the user vehicle to pass a target vehicle if the target vehicle is determined to be in a lane different from the lane in which the user vehicle is traveling; and causing the user vehicle to abort the pass before completion of the pass, if the target vehicle is determined to be entering the lane in which the user vehicle is traveling.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING DISPATCH OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT PATROLS FOR ACHIEVING A DESIRED DETERRENT EFFECT
A process for improving dispatch of different types of law enforcement patrols (LEPs) for achieving a desired deterrent effect includes first receiving patrol route information indicating patrol routes taken by first LEPs, and then determining, as a function of a type of each of the first LEPs, a threshold level of deterrence reached for each of the patrol routes taken. Subsequently, a threshold level of deterrence desired (TLoDD) for each of the plurality of patrol routes is determined as a function of historical and/or real-time crime information. A first patrol route having a threshold level of deterrence reached (TLoDR) that is less than a TOoDD is identified and, as a function of the difference, a particular type of second LEP having a sufficient deterrent effect factor to compensate for the difference is identified. An available responding second LEP of the particular type is then identified for dispatch.
