An article of clothing includes a garment body, a heater coupled to the garment body, a battery holder separate from the garment body and including a power terminal, and a rechargeable battery pack including a housing and a plurality of battery cells received in the housing and configured to provide power to the heater. The battery holder is detachably couplable to the garment body. The rechargeable battery pack is electrically connectable to the power terminal. The housing is detachably couplable to the battery holder. At least a portion of the housing is external to the battery holder when the rechargeable battery pack is coupled to the battery holder.

Heel Warming Sock
20230101007 · 2023-03-30 ·

A foot warming device for warming a foot of an infant for medical procedures, such as a heel stick procedure. A warming component is integrated into or is insertable into a sock or bootie. The warming component is located within the sock to warm a heel, a sole, a dorsum, or a combination of these parts of an infant's foot. Heat is generated exothermically from the warming component when a thermochemical composition is exposed to air or is agitated mechanically. The generated heat warm the adjacent part of the foot for long enough to improve blood flow to the area. The generated heat dissipates naturally as the thermochemical composition is consumed.

HEATED BODY SUIT ASSEMBLY
20230099988 · 2023-03-30 ·

A heated body suit assembly includes a shirt, a pair of pants, a pair of gloves and a pair of foot pads which each has a series of conduits integrated into the shirt, pants, gloves and foot pads. In this way air contained within the conduits is heated by the shirt when the shirt and pants are worn. The series of conduits in the pants is fluidly attached to the series of conduits in the shirt when each of the shirt and the pants are worn. The conduits in each of the gloves are fluidly coupled to the series of conduits in the shirt for warming the user's hands. The conduit in each of the foot pads are fluidly coupled to the conduits in the pants for warming the user's feet. A pair of blowers is positioned within the shirt to blow air throughout series of conduits in the shirt, the pants, the gloves and the foot pads.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR POWERING A GARMENT

A lawn mower or stand-on powered drivable machine has an electrical port that receives current from an alternator powered by the engine or motor. The port receives a plug from a garment worn by the lawn mower operator. The garment includes one or more thermo-electric elements that are powered from current extending through the port. The thermo-electric (TEC) elements may be resistive heaters to warm the operator or TEC coolers to cool the operator. Furthermore, the garment may include a rechargeable battery that powers the thermo-electric elements when the plug is disconnected from the port.

CLINICAL GARMENT WITH A CONVECTIVE DEVICE

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a warming device that includes a clinical garment and a first pneumatic convective device. The clinical garment includes an inner surface for facing the patient and having an inner surface area. The clinical garment has a hemline and forms a longitudinal axis. The first pneumatic convective device can have an air-permeable layer having a pneumatic surface area, the pneumatic surface area is at least 25% of the inner surface area in a deployed state. The warming device can include a first inlet for admitting a stream of pressurized, warmed air into the first pneumatic convective device. The second end of the first pneumatic convective device extends past the hemline when in the deployed state, and, when the first pneumatic convective device is in a folded state, the second end extends no greater than 3 inches past the hemline.

SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND RELATED GARMENTS FOR ACTIVE TEMPERATURE REGULATION
20230079554 · 2023-03-16 ·

Thermal regulating units are provided. Each thermal regulating unit includes a first thermally conductive layer in contact with the skin of the body. The first thermally conductive layer is embedded with electrical wiring and a first passive thermometer sensor.
