REFRIGERATION NECK FAN SYSTEM
A refrigeration neck fan system including articulable arms and cooling fans for adjustment by a wearer.
COOLING GARMENT COOLING DEVICE AND COOLING GARMENT HAVING THE SAME MOUNTED THERETO
A cooling garment cooling device includes: a water delivery hose with a cooling water supply portion and cooling water branch portion; a pump supplying cooling water from the cooling water supply portion toward the cooling water branch portion; and plural branched water hoses having a first end-side water supply portion and second end-side water supply portion coupled to the cooling water branch portion. A portion of the branched water hoses between the first end-side water supply portion and second end-side water supply portion serves as a water outlet portion. Each branched water hose diameter is smaller than the water delivery hose diameter. The outer peripheral portion of the water outlet portion of each branched water hose orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the branched water hose has plural water passage holes with opening areas smaller than those of the first end-side water supply portion and second end-side water supply portion.
AN ELECTRICAL ACTIVE UNIT FOR GENERATING A PHYSICAL EFFECT, TEXTILE ELEMENT INCLUDING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING SAID ELECTRICAL ACTIVE UNIT
An electrical active unit (100) for generating a physical effect such as heat, cold or light emission, with a particular application to a temperature regulation system for regulating the temperature of a body, or to a light emission system to be worn by such a portion of a body. The electrical active unit (100) comprises a textile support (102) supporting: an active element (101) adapted for generating said physical effect; at least one electrical connection point (104) adapted to be connected to a power source and a controlling unit, and located on said active element (101); a sensor (106) adapted for being connected to the power source and the controlling unit, such that the electrical active unit may be connected to the power source and the controlling unit via the connection point in order to allow the powering of the active element by the power source and the activation/deactivation of said active element by the controlling unit depending on data sensed by the sensor. The textile support (102) has a first face and a second face opposite to said first face, the at least one connection point (104) being located solely on the first face, the active element (101) being embedded in the textile support (102) so as to form a determined pattern on the first and second faces. The pattern can avoid electrical current discharged from the connection points (104) through the second face, thereby avoiding direct contact between the skin and hot spots located at connection points (104).
Therapeutic Garment
A therapeutic garment for cooling an arm of a user includes a vest that is configured to position over a torso of the user. A sleeve is coupled to and extends from a circumference of an armhole of the vest so that the sleeve is configured to insert the arm of the user. The sleeve comprises an inner layer that is coupled to an outer layer so that the inner layer and the outer layer define an interior space. The interior space extends from a cuff of the sleeve to the armhole. An orifice is positioned in the outer layer proximate to the armhole. The orifice is configured to selectively insert a cooling material into the interior space, positioning the cooling material to cool the arm of the user. A closure is coupled to the outer layer proximate to the orifice and is positioned to selectively and sealably close the orifice.
Body cooling assembly
A body cooling assembly for cooling parts of a body includes a belt that is extendable around a waist. A housing is mounted on the belt includes a top wall, a bottom wall and a perimeter wall that extends between and is attached to the top and bottom wall. The housing has a first aperture and a second aperture for taking in and expelling air. A cooling unit is mounted in the housing. When actuated the cooling unit draws air into the housing, cools the air and dispends the cold air outwardly. A plurality of tubes is fluidly coupled to the housing and in thermal communication with the cooling unit such that air moves through the cooling unit and exits the housing through the tubes. The tubes are positionable on parts of a body and have a plurality of vent holes wherein each tube releases air.
DERMAL HEATSINK EXHIBITING HYDROPHILIC AND CONTAMINANT RESISTANT PROPERTIES AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING A DERMAL HEATSINK
One variation of a method for fabricating a dermal heatsink includes: fabricating a substrate defining an interior surface, an exterior surface opposite the interior surface, and an open network of pores extending between the interior surface and the exterior surface; activating surfaces of the substrate and walls of the open network of pores; applying a coating over the substrate to form a heatsink, the coating comprising a porous, hydrophilic material and defining a void network; removing an excess of the coating from the substrate to clear blockages within the open network of pores by the coating; hydrating the heatsink during a curing period; heating the heatsink during the curing period to increase porosity of the coating applied over surfaces of the substrate; and rinsing the heatsink with an acid to decarbonate the coating along walls of the open network of pores in the substrate.
Cooling polyamide yarn
The present invention provides a polyamide (preferably Nylon 66) yarn for weaving or knitting clothes articles which have a cooling effect on the skin of the wearer. The yarn contains an inorganic additive (preferably Titanium dioxide) in an amount of between 0.3 and 3.0 wt % and is characterized by a low crimp modulus and a flat cross section.
GARMENT WITH SAFETY FEATURES
A safety garment for use in hazardous environments. The safety garment includes a covering configured to cover at least part of a torso of a wearer of the garment and a refillable heat extraction pack attached to the covering. The pack defines a chamber for receiving and releasably retaining a cooling medium therein for absorbing heat from the wearer and a flow control device for permitting the release of the cooling medium from the chamber via a port after a cooling capacity of the cooling medium has been reduced. The safety garment also includes a wearer-carrying harness integrated into the covering. The wearer-carrying harness having a pair of shoulder straps, each of the shoulder straps being configured to completely encircle a respective shoulder of the wearer.
FLEXIBLE COOLING GARMENT SYSTEM
Aspects herein are directed to a cooling garment. The cooling garment can include a vest configured to be worn by a wearer. One or more pockets on the vest may be configured to receive one or more icepacks. The one or more pockets may include a stretch material on a front portion of the one or more pockets. The one or more pockets can further include a non-stretch material on a back portion of the one or more pockets.
AIR-CONDITIONING GARMENT WITH PORTABLE MINIATURE AIR CONDITIONER
An air-conditioning garment includes a garment, a miniature air conditioner, and a convenient strap for carrying the miniature air conditioner on the garment. The garment includes an outer layer and an inner layer sealed together to form an air channel, at least two air holes are arranged across the outer layer of the garment, the garment and the miniature air conditioner are connected by an air inlet tube and an air outlet tube, and one end of the air inlet tube and one end of the air outlet tube are respectively connected to at least two of the air holes, so as to be connected to the air channel of the garment.
