The helmet enclosure retains a fan and includes a brow bar portion at a front of the helmet enclosure that is shaped to extend along a brow or a forehead of the user and having a light positioned therein. The helmet enclosure also includes a stabilizer extending downward from the helmet enclosure in front of the ears of a user, a face shield that is transparent and coupleable to at least the brow bar portion, a headband shaped to extend across an occiput region of the user's head, and a surgical garment for covering at least the head and shoulders of a user in use. The brow bar portion includes vents disposed therein to direct airflow pushed through the helmet enclosure from the fan onto the user. The face shield is coupleable to the helmet enclosure by one or more of a hook and loop fastener on the helmet enclosure or the stabilizer and a post protruding from the brow bar portion.

Surgical garment

A surgical garment for use with a helmet, wherein the garment comprises a shell, a transparent face shield, and an attachment element coupled to the transparent face shield. The garment may be configured to define a barrier between the wearer and the environment. The attachment element configured to removably couple with a coupling member of the helmet, wherein the attachment element and coupling member comprise complementary coupling surfaces. The attachment element comprises a head having a distal surface and a proximal surface, and defining a coupling recess, the coupling recess is defined in the proximal surface of the head. The garment may comprise a first and second attachment element, with the first attachment element being coupled to upper portion of the transparent face shield and the second attachment element being coupled to lower portion of the transparent face shield.

AIR FILTERING SURGICAL HELMET

Disclosed is a protective helmet, surgical garment, and positive pressure air filter apparatus. The helmet is adapted to fit on the head of a medical practitioner and includes a filtered air inlet located near the crown of the practitioner's head, one or more air flow ducts, and one or more outlets located near the practitioner's face. The garment fits over the helmet and provides an air-impermeable barrier to prevent airborne contaminants from entering the space around the practitioner's head. A motorized filter unit is adapted to be worn near the waist of the practitioner. A tube connects the output of the filter unit with the air inlet of the helmet to provide a filtered air supply to the practitioner. One or more filter elements are provided at the input of the filter unit. The filter elements remove contaminants, including bacteria, viruses, vapors, and gasses from ambient air drawn into the filter unit to generate filtered air that is delivered to the practitioner.

PROTECTIVE APPAREL AND SUPPORT APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE

A protective apparel support system is disclosed comprising a support frame configured to rest on the shoulders of a wearer, the support having a first shoulder member, a second shoulder member and a shield engagement portion. A shield is selectively coupleable to the support and protective apparel is coupled to the shield.

Protective Surgical Garment Including A Transparent Face Shield

A personal protection system including a surgical garment that may be mounted to a helmet including an electrically powered assembly, such as a fan. The garment includes a shell adapted for being disposed over the helmet of the personal protection system. The garment also includes a transparent face shield coupled to the shell and positioned so that, when the garment is disposed over the helmet, the face shield is located in front of the face of the individual. The garment may includes two fastening features spaced apart from one another for releasably securing the shell to the helmet and a conductor that extends between the two fastening features.

A protective apparel system for use with a surgical helmet having a headlamp and including a protective apparel apparatus comprising a surgical garment, wherein the garment defines a sterile barrier between the wearer and the environment. The system includes a lens assembly adjacent to the surgical garment on the environment side and configured to cooperate with a coupling member for use with the headlamp. The lens assembly may include a control member and a lens, wherein the control member is be manipulatable by a wearer. The control member may be configured wherein manipulation by the wearer may reposition the lens of the lens assembly to adjust the direction and/or intensity of the light from the headlamp without breaching the sterile barrier.

Individual nano-bodies protection of skin and respiratory system

During national crisis as virus pandemics, bio-terrorism, chemical pollution, a response is to lock down all the economy, with several % GDP loss, or to convince population to wear, reasonably, appropriate individual anti-virus and bacterial protection accessories, made of a full head and shoulders protection mask, equipped with air ventilation and processing unit, and gloves, and body protection foil, for single or multiple use, and get minimal economic losses. The air processing unit may be developed a modular structure, starting from a simple filtered fan, with air suction on top of the head, flowing air over the face, for low probability of contamination environments, upgraded to a more complex unit including heat pipe, catalytic organic matter reduction, oxygen generator and closed circuit breathing unit, that may be integrated into a full body personal protection equipment by extending the functions of temperature, humidity and pressure control to full body, for hazardous environments.

Surgical Personal Protection Apparatus

A personal protection system for providing a sterile barrier around medical/surgical personnel. The system may include a head unit over which surgical garment such as a hood or a toga may be suspended over. The surgical garment may include a sterile material and a shield configured to be disposed in front of the wearers face when disposed over the head unit. The shield may comprise an anti-reflective coating configured to reduce the glare observed by the individual through said shield. The head unit may comprises a light assembly that is disposed on the wearers side of the surgical garment, and an inner surface of said surgical garment may comprise a light reflective material configured to reduce the amount of light emitted from said light assembly that is reflected back toward the individual.
