A GARMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A GARMENT
We provide a garment (100) for covering a portion of a patient's chest during a medical examination, the garment comprising a sheet of material forming: a neck portion (108) defining an aperture (110) for receiving a head of the patient, and a left covering part (104) depending from the neck portion (108), configured to cover a substantial portion of a left breast of the patient, and a right covering part (106) depending from the neck portion (108), configured to cover a substantial portion of a right breast of the patient, the left and right covering parts being separated at respective lower ends (138,140).

A medical tube holder comprising a vest having at least one sealable pocket located on the vest. The inside of the pocket is provided with at least one tube retaining devices into which the end of a medical tube may be releasably retained.
Medical gown with easy tie strap
A gown is provided for medical and other uses which allows the person wearing the gown or an assistant to quickly and easily tie the straps to close the open gap in the back of the gown. The gown includes an elongated first strap having a first end fixed to a back edge of the gown, and then extending upwardly over the shoulder, with a free end hanging in front of the gown. The elongated strap is releasably and temporarily secured near the shoulder of the gown. The person wearing the gown or the assistant can grasp the loose end of the strap and pull, so as to release the strap from the attachment mechanism, and then pull the strap upwardly to pass around the back of the person's neck and downwardly along the opposite side, and then tying to a second strap at a location in front of their body. The straps eliminate the need to reach behind the person's back to tie the gown.
COMPRESSION VEST SYSTEM
A vest includes a first panel including a first flap, a second panel including a second flap, a back panel extending from the first panel to the second panel, and a plurality of grips. The back panel defines a first and second arm accesses with the first and second panels respectively, and portions of the first, second, and back panels disposed below the first and second arm accesses define a body of the vest. The first flap is configured to overlap the second flap such that the first and second flaps define a closure, and the first and second panels define a collar. The first flap includes a first front attachment segment configured to attach to a second front attachment segment of the second flap in a closed state of the vest, and an area of an attachment configuration between the first and second front attachment segments is equal to at least of an area having a length equal to a length of the body and a width equal to of a maximum width of the body.
Adjustable clothing for physically impaired users
A system and/or method a may include adjusting an opening in a garment. The method may include disconnecting at least one fastener attaching a first portion of material to a second portion of the material forming an opening in a garment with a first diameter. The method may include expanding the first opening from the first diameter to a second larger diameter using a third portion of material attaching the first portion to the second portion of material. The method may include inserting an appendage of a user through the expanded opening. At least a portion of the appendage may include a medical device. The medical device may be inhibited from conveying through the opening with the first diameter. The method may include folding the third portion of material within the first diameter of the opening when the at least one fastener is activated.
POSTSURGICAL CONVALESCENCE SHIRT
Example embodiments of the present general inventive concept provide a postsurgical convalescence shirt including a placket to open and close the convalescence shirt, and one or more receiving compartments provided inside the convalescence shirt proximate a lower portion thereof, and configured to receive a drain reservoir connected to drainage tubing to drain fluid from a surgical area of a patient's body.
Medical apparatus
Medical apparatuses for securing, protecting, retaining, and/or concealing various medical devices such as catheters or electrical leads are disclosed herein. The medical apparatus can be a garment which is for use by a patient having a central venous catheter in place. Medical garments as disclosed herein can be used for a wide variety of medical devices attached to a patient, by implantation or otherwise, for varying lengths of time. Medical garments described herein may be used with any of a variety of medical devices which include or comprise one or more conduits used for medical treatment or diagnosis, including conduits which comprise catheters as well as electrical conduits such as electrical leads.
Drain support apron
A drain support apron (1) having a main panel (2) with a plurality of pockets (9) located thereon that provide storage for one or more drain bulbs (10). The drain apron is preferably worn around a patient's midsection.

Permanently Embedded Protective Covering for Articles of Clothing
The present invention involves an article of clothing having a permanently embedded protective covering in the article of clothing over at least one predetermined portion of the clothing that can be worn by infants, children and adults. The protective covering is made from a thermoplastic material that is applied to and thermally bonds or co-mingles with only the outermost fabric fibers of the clothing creating a permanently embedded, liquid impermeable, non-porous protective covering, including an increased height edge, which covering retains the same flexibility as the underlying fabric of the clothing article. The protective covering can be positioned across the top front portion of the clothing article and extend downward to a lower portion of the front of the clothing article creating an easy to clean particle and dirt resistant covering for the clothing article.
