Indoor camera and action log recording system
An indoor camera includes: an image capturing unit; a storage unit configured to store at least one detection area in association with stagnation times, the detection area that is a target area for detecting stagnation of a pet, and the stagnation times indicating the number of times when the pet enters the detection area and stagnates in the detection area; and a processor configured to detect a position of the pet and count the stagnation times of the pet in the detection area based on captured images. If determining, based on the captured images, that the pet stagnates in the detection area for a predetermined time period or longer, the processor increments and counts the stagnation times of the pet in the detection area and generates an action log including identification information of the detection area and information on the stagnation times.
TEMPERATURE MONITORING
In some examples, an array sensor temperature control system is provided. The system may include an array sensor for generating a two-dimensional image, the two-dimensional image including a plurality of pixels or cells indicative of a temperature of a monitored component; a controller for controlling a heating or cooling device to adjust the temperature of the monitored component; and an array sensor controller activated by a power source and being in communication with the array sensor and controller.
INFRARED PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFRARED SENSOR SYSTEM, INFRARED PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
An infrared processing system includes a first thermal image generating unit, an object extracting unit, a second thermal image generating unit, and an object temperature calculating unit. The first thermal image generating unit generates, using a first temperature correction value, a first thermal image based on the output signal of the image sensor. The object extracting unit extracts the object from the first thermal image. The second thermal image generating unit generates, using a second temperature correction value corresponding to the object that has been extracted by the object extracting unit, a second thermal image based on the output signal of the image sensor. The object temperature calculating unit calculates, based on the second thermal image that has been generated by the second thermal image generating unit, a temperature of the object that has been extracted by the object extracting unit.
METHOD OF DIGITALLY PROCESSING A PLURALITY OF PIXELS AND TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT APPARATUS
A method of digitally processing a plurality of pixels of an image captured using an array of sensing pixels of an optical sensor device. The method comprises identifying a measurement pixel of the plurality of pixels corresponding to a measurement point on a target to be measured. The method then comprises identifying a number of pixels of the plurality of pixels neighbouring the measurement pixel, the number of pixels having a number of intensity values, respectively. A curve is then fitted to the number of pixels and the number of respective intensity values. An estimated intensity value is then determined from the curve in respect of the measurement pixel, thereby simulating a predetermined field of view in respect of the measurement pixel narrower than an actual field of view of the measurement pixel.
SYNTHESIS OF THERMAL HYPERSPECTRAL IMAGERY
A system simulates hyperspectral imaging data or multispectral imaging data for a simulated sensor. Blackbody radiance of real-world thermal imagery data is computed using a Planck function, which generates a simulated spectral hypercube. Spectral emissivity data for background materials are multiplied by a per-pixel weighting function, which generates weighted spectral emissivity data. The simulated spectral hypercube is multiplied by the weighted spectral emissivity data, which generates background data in the simulated spectral hypercube. Simulated targets are inserted the background data using the Planck function. The simulated spectral hypercube is modified, and then it is used to estimate a mission measure of effectiveness of the simulated sensor.

Disclosed herein are thermoreflectance enhancement coatings and methods of making and use thereof.
APPARATUS FOR THERMAL SENSING DURING ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING AND METHODS THAT ACCOMPLISH THE SAME
An additive manufacturing apparatus includes a laser and a detection system. The laser emits a laser beam to heat a powder bed to form a melt pool, and the melt pool emits light proportional to a temperature of the melt pool. The detection system includes a spectral disperser and one of a) two or more on-axis sensors or b) a line scanner. The two or more on-axis sensors or the line scanner are/is located along an axis of the emitted light, the detection system receives the emitted light from the melt pool, and an intensity of the emitted light detected by the a) two or more on-axis sensors or the b) line scanner is compared with a blackbody spectral map at a particular wavelength of the emitted light to determine a temperature of the melt pool.
Light source, optical device, measuring device, robot, electronic apparatus, movable structure, and manufacturing apparatus
According to one embodiment, a light source includes a plurality of light-emitting elements each including one or more surface-emitting lasers; and a plurality of detecting elements located on a same substrate as the light-emitting elements. The detecting elements individually detect quantities of output light of the light-emitting elements.
SPATIAL TEMPERATURE ESTIMATION SYSTEM, WARM/COLD SENSATION ESTIMATION SYSTEM, SPATIAL TEMPERATURE ESTIMATION METHOD, WARM/COLD SENSATION ESTIMATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A spatial temperature estimation system includes a thermal image acquisition unit and a space temperature estimation unit. The thermal image acquisition unit is configured to detect a temperature of at least one surface of a ceiling, a floor, or a plurality of walls of a room. The space temperature estimation unit is configured to estimate a temperature of air in an interior space of a room with reference to a CRI coefficient relating to the at least one surface and the temperature detected by the thermal image acquisition unit.
DETERMINATION OF SEPARATION DISTANCE FROM THERMAL AND ACOUSTIC INPUT
A method for dynamically determining a separation distance in which thermal images of a space are received that indicate a count and location of users within the space, temperature of the users within the space are received along with acoustic data from the users within the space, which is filtered to include specific symptom-related sounds and discard other sounds. The one or more processors generate a probability of a contagious infection of users within the space at a location determined by the thermal images, based on correlating the temperature and the acoustic data associated with the users within the space. A separation distance from the users within the space is calculated, based on the locations and the probabilities of infection of the users within the space, and a notification corresponding to the calculated separation distance is delivered to a protected user.
