Present invention teaches a mechanical vaporizer primarily consisting of a mouth piece, an outer tube, and inner tube wrapped by a spring. A heat sink provides the insolation between the outer tube and the heating chamber that contains a side window to show temperature by the length extension of a sensing coil and allows easy removal of used vaping material to be removed.

FABRY-PEROT BASED ADVANCED PNEUMATIC FIRE/OVERHEAT DETECTOR
A fire or overheat detection device includes a diaphragm adjacent to a chamber with a gas inside the chamber, wherein the diaphragm contacts the gas. The fire or overheat detection system also includes a Fabry-Perot interferometer. At least a portion of the Fabry-Perot interferometer is coupled to the diaphragm via a linkage. A light source is configured to direct an input light into the Fabry-Perot interferometer.

An improvement to bimetallic pipe thermometers utilizing insulating tubular seats. The present invention improves the insulating tubular seat by closing off the tail slot along a proximal end thereof with a bridge or stop. Going forward, users of such bimetallic pipe thermometers no longer need worry about the tail of the bimetallic coil sensor unintentionally slipping out of what is currently an opened-ended tail slot.

The sensing devices each include a cantilevered structure and at least one contact configured for contact-mode operation with the cantilevered structure in response to the cantilevered structure deflecting toward or away from the contact when exposed to the parameter of interest. The cantilevered structure has at least first and second beams of dissimilar materials, at least one of which has at least one property that changes as a result of exposure to the parameter.

The one more shape memory responsive elements include a shape memory actuator surrounding the first and second conductive wires and that has an expanded size and a contracted size and that is sized and arranged such that when the shape memory actuator is in the contracted state the first and second conductive wires contact one another and when the shape memory actuator is in the expanded state the first and second conductive wires do not contact one another.
