System and method for time-temperature monitoring of transportable goods
A method and related system for monitoring a time-temperature profile comprises measuring by a temperature sensor a temperature of an object, recording by an electronic device a time-temperature data point including the temperature and a time at which the temperature was measured, communicating the recorded time-temperature data point by the electronic device to a computing system, and determining by the computing system whether the recorded time-temperature data point is outside a predetermined acceptable range.
Conductor Temperature Detector
Various implementations described herein are directed to a method for detecting, by a device, an increase in temperature at certain parts of an electrical system, and taking appropriate responsive action. The method may include measuring temperatures at certain locations within the system and estimating temperatures at other locations based on the measurements. Some embodiments disclosed herein include an integrated cable combining electrical conduction and heat-detection capabilities, or an integrated cable or connector combining electrical conduction with a thermal fuse.
Thermal history detection label and reagent kit
A thermal history detection label for detecting a thermal history over a temperature range to be monitored while suppressing an increase in label size is provided. The thermal history detection label is configured to detect a thermal history by the permeation of a molten permeating material into a permeation body, and the thermal history detection label includes a permeating material that integrally includes a first permeating material having a first melting point and a second permeating material having a second melting point higher than the first melting point, and a permeation body into which the permeating material permeates.
Semiconductor device and capacitance sensor device
A semiconductor device includes first and second electrode pads for externally connecting two electrodes of a sensor capacitor that has a capacitance that changes according to an environmental change. The semiconductor device further includes a capacitor having a pair of electrodes, one of the pair of electrodes being connected to the first electrode pad, a capacitance circuit having a reference capacitance, and a determination circuit that includes first and second relay terminals. The determination circuit is configured to send a charging current from the first relay terminal to the other electrode of the capacitor and send a charging current from the second relay terminal to the capacitance circuit, and determine whether or not the size of a potential of the first relay terminal is greater than the size of a potential of the second relay terminal, thereby determining whether a capacitance of the sensor capacitor has changed or not.
Sensor, detection method, and sensor manufacturing method
A sensor includes a body member, a volume change body, and a detection member. The body member has a flat plate-like shape, a first end in a first direction being supported, and a storage space opening at at least one of both end faces in a thickness direction. The volume change body, whose volume changes depending on an amount of a target, is supported by the body member so that at least a part of the volume change body is stored in the storage space. The detection member is in contact with a second end in the first direction of the body member, and detects stress caused by the change in the volume of the volume change body.

Temperature indicator
According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a device and technique for temperature detection includes a housing having a temperature detection assembly, switch circuitry, and a radio-frequency identification (RFID) module coupled to the switch circuitry. Responsive to the indicator being subjected to a temperature exceeding a threshold, the temperature detection assembly causes a change in the switch circuitry, wherein the change in the switch circuitry causes a change in a value output by the RFID module when activated.
