ERGONOMIC WORK GLOVES
Disclosed is a glove that alleviates the biasing force associated with opening or closing the hand and fingers. In some aspects the glove may have preformed angled portions at one or more joints or locations on the hand to enable the hand to flex between the open and closed position.
DISPOSABLE GLOVE WITH INTEGRATED FUNCTIONAL COATING LAYER AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a disposable glove may include a glove body having a shape of a hand; and a functional coating layer on a portion of the glove body and integrated with the glove body. According to another embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for manufacturing a disposable glove includes: coating a functional material formulation on a portion of a hand mold; drying the functional material formulation partially or completely to form a functional coating layer on the hand mold; coating the hand mold having the functional coating layer thereon with a glove body formulation; drying the glove body formulation to form a dried glove body; and removing the dried glove body from the hand mold so that the glove body is flipped inside out to form the disposable glove with the functional coating layer integrated with the glove body.
WELDING FINGER COT AND HAND GUARD
The welding finger cot is formed from a single sleeve of a fire retardant material. The sleeve is of a predetermined length and diameter. By folding and inverting the ends of the sleeve in a specific manner, a finger receiving portion and an adjustable tail portion are formed. The user inserts a gloved finger into the finger receiving portion, and then pulls on the adjustable tail portion so as to adjust the same to a desired length. The finger cot with extended adjustable tail portion allows the user to rest or stabilize their hand on a hot surface during a welding operation.
Ergonomic work gloves
Disclosed is a glove that alleviates the biasing force associated with opening or closing the hand and fingers. In some aspects the glove may be formed of a plurality of materials in which one material provides protection for the hand and another enables the hand to flex to the open and closed position.
GLOVES HAVING REINFORCEMENTS AND IMPACT FEATURES
Gloves comprising a polymeric coating or layer, optionally including a fabric liner, and at least one reinforcement, disposed on a part(s) of the polymeric coating or layer and/or ac part(s) of the fabric liner, and methods of making the gloves are disclosed.
AMBIDEXTROUS GLOVE HAVING WIDENED GLOVE BODY AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
A reusable glove for meat processing plants that is able to be easily donned and doffed, and worn over a liner. A thumb crotch is defined between first sides of the glove's index finger region and thumb region. An imaginary first plane extends generally along the index finger region's first side, beyond the thumb crotch, and through the thumb region. An imaginary second plane oriented at right angles to the first plane extends along a narrowest width of the glove's wrist region and intersects the first plane at an intersection region. An imaginary third plane oriented parallel to the first plane and at right angles to the second plane, passes through narrowest width of the wrist region, and intersects the side of the wrist region at a transition region. The transition region is located outwardly beyond the intersection region and vertically below the thumb crotch.
GLOVES WITH SENSORY WINDOWS
A glove that is less prone to slip on the hand, and/or that provides for better tactile sensation, and/or that provides a better outer grip. The glove has an outer surface, an inner surface, and one or more of: ridges, an inner grip material, and one or more sensory windows at places where greater tactile sensation is desired. The inner grip material friction with the skin and/or is tacky to help maintain the glove in position on the hand. The glove may also include an outer material and/or throwing grip material.
Preparation method of glove having soft coating with high wear resistance and high anti-slip performance
A preparation method of a glove having a soft coating with high wear resistance and high anti-slip performance is provided, including: physically spraying a bio-based organic polymer material on a surface of a glove core coated with an impregnation latex, conducting pre-vulcanization and high-temperature vulcanization successively, washing with an alkali liquor, an acid liquor, and water successively, and oven-drying to obtain the glove having the soft coating with high wear resistance and high anti-slip performance. The present disclosure has the following advantages: The preparation method is simple and reliable, and can greatly increase anti-slip performance and wear resistance of a coating while providing a delicate sand surface effect for the coating. The glove of the present disclosure has excellent anti-slip performance, durability, and comfortability in oily environments and dry environments.
GLOVE WITH TEXTURED PALM REGION AND DIFFERENTLY TEXTURED DIGIT REGIONS
A glove and method of manufacture thereof. The glove includes a wrist region, a palm region extending outwardly from the wrist region, and a plurality of digit regions extending outwardly from the palm region. A front surface of the palm region and a front surface of the plurality of digit regions will be contacted by an object when the object is gripped in the hand of a user wearing the glove. A first texture is provided on the front surface the palm region and a second texture is provided on the front surface of the plurality of digit regions. The first texture and second texture are different from one another. In one embodiment, a sand pattern is micro-etched into the palm region and a raised diamond pattern is molded into the plurality of digit regions. Gripping zones are molded into the rear surface of the digit regions.
Damage-resistant gloves with breach-indicator function
Described herein is a multi-layered latex cover, particularly a glove, comprising a main body and a rim. The main body comprises an outer latex layer, an inner latex layer and an intermediate layer comprising particles. The rim essentially consists of the agglutinated outer and inner latex layer. The particles in the intermediate layer are chemically functionalized with a compound comprising hydrophobic groups. Prior to functionalization, the particles are characterized by a mean diameter of 100 m and a surface comprising exposed OH groups. The invention further relates to a method of producing the multi-layered cover, comprising the steps of providing a former and sequentially immersing it in a first coagulator solution, a first latex dispersion, a particle suspension and a second latex dispersion.
