Compressible Electrode
The present invention provides a compressible electrode comprising a stably deformable polymer layer comprising a first outer surface, a second outer surface and at least one deformed portion formed as at least one indentation in the first outer surface and at least one corresponding protrusion in the second outer surface, and at least one non-deformed portion. The electrode further comprises at least one stretchable conductor layer arranged on or within the stably deformable polymer layer at the deformed portion and/or at the non-deformed portion. Further, the stably deformable polymer layer is stably deformed at the at least one deformed portion. The electrode further comprises an elastic material arranged on the first outer surface such that the elastic material fills the at least one indentation.
PRODUCT TESTING WITH SYNCHRONIZED CAPTURE AND PRESENTATION OF MULTIMEDIA AND SENSOR DATA
A test manager and media interface (TMMI) may manage testing procedures associated with a test such as a product test, capture media and sensor data associated with the test, and generate a synchronized multimedia presentation based on the captured media and sensor data. A TMMI include: a test environment having: a test applicator for applying a test stimulus to an item under test; a sensor that measures at least one test attribute; and a media capture element that captures media including video of the item under test. The TMMI may include a media interface that generates a graphical user interface including at least a portion of the media captured by the media capture element and the at least one attribute.
Apparatus for testing the firmness of infant sleep surfaces
An apparatus to test, at home, the firmness of a sleep surface to be used by an infant is disclosed. The apparatus is based on the home version of the Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 8811.1:2013. The apparatus comprises two pieces, one piece is the support to hold a defined weight, and the other piece is used as a scale to visualize how much the piece with the weight sinks into the sleep surface.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING SEAT MOTOR NOISE
An apparatus for inspecting seat motor noise includes: a soundproof booth provided on a transfer path of a seat assembly and installed with an opening/closing door at both sides along a transfer direction of the seat assembly; a power supply portion provided within the soundproof booth and configured to apply power to respective seat motors of the seat assembly; a noise detection unit installed within the soundproof booth and configured to detect an operation noise of the seat motors; and a controller configured to determine whether the seat motors are defective in noise based on comparison of noise data detected by the noise detection unit to predetermined reference data.
CFM MEASURING DEVICE AND DISPLAY FOR BEDDING SURFACES AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A system is provided for marketing bedding. The system includes an apparatus for measuring air flow through an article of bedding having a body defining a chamber and an opening that is in communication with the chamber, an air flow generator positioned within the chamber. The system is used to measure the air flow through an article of bedding that covers the opening such that air flow created by the air flow generator passes through the article of bedding. Methods of use are provided.
Method and apparatus for testing rolling resistance
A method and apparatus for testing rolling resistance of a mattress by rolling a cylindrical weight across at least a portion of the mattress and measuring torque of the cylindrical weight moving across the mattress. The apparatus is preferably automated and preferably continuously measures torque as the cylinder is continuously moved across the mattress at a constant speed.
Effort Fixture for Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility
A fixture for testing efforts is described. The fixture may include a carriage, a platform mounted on the carriage, and a plurality of receiving members located at testing module positions around or in the platform. The platform is configured to receive one or more vehicle seats to be efforts tested. The fixture may further include a tumble return assembly, a lever test module, a headrest button test assembly, a slide assembly, a strap pull assembly, an anti-tilt tooling assembly, a calibration module, a seat back lift assembly, a headrest lift assembly, a weight box, and a tumble stop.
FENESTRATION UNIT DEMONSTRATION METHODS AND SYSTEMS
Various systems and methods for demonstrating acoustic properties of a fenestration unit are provided herein. A system includes a sound demonstration apparatus having a sound insulating member defining an acoustic chamber, wherein the sound demonstration apparatus includes at least one open face. The system also includes a sound emitter operable to be positioned in the acoustic chamber of the sound demonstration apparatus, wherein the sound demonstration apparatus is operable to engage the fenestration unit at the open face of the sound demonstration apparatus. The method includes positioning the sound demonstration apparatus and a fenestration unit, such that the fenestration unit and the sound demonstration apparatus are operably engaged and form an acoustic chamber. The method includes activating a sound emitter.
TEST SYSTEM FOR REPEATEDLY OPERATING OPENING/CLOSING OF BLIND
A test system for repeatedly operating the opening/closing of a blind is disclosed. The test system for repeatedly operating the opening/closing of a blind, of the present invention, comprises: an operating device for operating a cord so as to repeatedly adjust the height of a blind; and a control device for controlling the operation of the operating device, wherein the height of the blind is repeatedly adjusted when the movement distance of the cord and a repeated adjustment cycle for the height of the blind are inputted in the control device. According to the present invention, provided is the test system for repeatedly operating the opening/closing of the blind, the system repeatedly simulating the opening/closing motions of the blind so as to evaluate the durability of a clutch and the cord.
