SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SWAPPING SPRINGS PRESENT IN A PRODUCT
Disclosed is a system for swapping springs present in a product. A data receiving module receives metadata associated to a spring. The metadata comprises a pitch, vector coordinates and alike. A comparison module compares the pitch associated to the spring with a predefined threshold value thereby categorizing each spring into one of a category including a utilized spring category and an underutilized spring category. A determination module determines an underutilized spring, amongst the underutilized spring category, based on at least one of the vector coordinates and the pitch, when the spring is categorized in the utilized spring category. Subsequent to determining the underutilized spring, the swapping module swaps the spring with the underutilized spring by using a control mechanism.
Product testing with synchronized capture and presentation of multimedia and sensor data
A test manager and media interface (TMMI) may manage testing procedures associated with a test such as a product test, capture media and sensor data associated with the test, and generate a synchronized multimedia presentation based on the captured media and sensor data. A TMMI include: a test environment having: a test applicator for applying a test stimulus to an item under test; a sensor that measures at least one test attribute; and a media capture element that captures media including video of the item under test. The TMMI may include a media interface that generates a graphical user interface including at least a portion of the media captured by the media capture element and the at least one attribute.
Seating posture mannequin and method for obtaining information for evaluating seat
A seating posture mannequin configured to be used for evaluating a seat, the seating posture mannequin including: a pelvic part configured to be placed on a seat cushion; a chest part configured to be disposed at a position facing a seat back, wherein a relative position between the chest part and the pelvic part can be changed; a slope adjustment device configured to change a slope of the chest part; and a processing device configured to control the slope adjustment device by using a result detected by a detector.
EXCRETION BEHAVIOR RECORDING DEVICE, EXCRETION BEHAVIOR RECORDING METHOD, AND LIFE BEHAVIOR DISPLAY SYSTEM
An excretion behavior recording device includes a detection section configured to detect vibration of a toilet bowl, an extraction section configured to extract a feature value included in a vibration waveform and indicating excretion behavior of each of urination and defecation of a user, a determination section configured to determine whether an occurrence cause of the vibration is the urination or the defecation based on the extracted feature value, and a recording section configured to record the determined urination and defecation.
A MATTRESS TEST MANIKIN-LATERAL POSITION
A system for measuring spinal and/or skeletal angles of a manikin in a lateral position. The system comprises a manikin, the manikin comprising one or more articulating joints and a spinal and/or skeletal profile defining a manikin profile, a suspension frame, the suspension frame suspending the manikin, one or more measuring devices connected to the manikin at one or more measuring points, and a support surface, the support surface adjustable in at least a vertical axis. The manikin comprises a suspended configuration when suspended by the suspension frame, and a supported configuration when supported by the support surface. The one or more measuring devices measures differences in the spinal and/or skeletal angles of the manikin profile between the suspended configuration and the supported configuration. The invention provides a system to replicate and measure human physiology when engaged with a surface.
Pelvis member of an anthropomorphic test device having a buttock cavity to simulate buttock compression
An anthropomorphic test device includes a pelvis member. The pelvis member has a foam core and includes an abdomen region defining a first cavity and a pair of thigh regions extending from the abdomen region. The pelvis member also includes a buttock region positioned below the abdomen region and rearward of the pair of thigh regions. The buttock region defines a buttock cavity separate from the first cavity with the buttock region also defining at least one vent port. The buttock cavity compresses from an open condition to a collapsed condition when the anthropomorphic test device is placed onto a surface for approximating a force applied by a body weight of a human.
CORDLESS SPRING-SYSTEM CURTAIN INSPECTION DEVICE
A cordless spring-system curtain inspection device, comprising a test stand and a curtain-opening and -closing drive mechanism disposed on the test stand, wherein the curtain-opening and -closing drive mechanism comprises a clamping mechanism configured to clamp a lower beam of a curtain and a lower-beam lifting drive mechanism configured to drive the clamping mechanism to move reciprocally and linearly. The utility model is applicable to various cordless spring-system curtains, having a wide application range. The clamped member can be fixed to the clamping apparatus by adding an auxiliary component to the lower beam. The lifting parts in the utility model are all driven by the stepmotor or servo motor, and the slide rail and transmission belts are provided. The curtain height is measured more precise, the force during curtain inspection is more stable, and the test data is more accurate.
SYSTEM FOR MEASURING THE FATIGUE OF A MECHANICAL STRUCTURE
The invention relates to a system for measuring the fatigue of a mechanical structure, comprising: a first force sensor capable of generating a first signal representative of a force applied to a first mechanical part of the mechanical structure; a second force sensor capable of generating a second signal representative of a force applied to a second mechanical part of the mechanical structure; and an electronic processing module configured to calculate a correlation coefficient between the first signal and the second signal, and to indicate a state of fatigue of the mechanical structure as a function of a temporal change in the previously calculated correlation coefficient.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO DETERMINE DEFECTIVENESS OF A MATTRESS
A measurement device is configured to measure a defectiveness of a mattress. The measurement device may include a base plate having a top surface and a bottom surface. The measurement device may include a guide member disposed on the top surface of the base plate. The guide member may include a scale configured to measure the defectiveness of a mattress.
Compressible electrode
