A garment includes a garment body formed of at least one fabric. At least one padded portion is coupled to the garment body so as to extend inwardly of the garment body and at least partially occupy a volume defined by a space between a portion of the garment body and a correspondingly positioned portion of a wearer's body. A method includes disposing padding configured to be accommodated in a region of a body of the wearer which is spaced apart from a portion of a garment body of the exercise garment when worn so as to be inwardly projecting of the garment body in a position generally corresponding to the region of the body of the wearer, to thereby insulate and/or wick moisture away from the skin.

Facemask and Method of Manufacturing Same

The present disclosure is directed to a protective facemask absent of a nose wire that can be used in multiple applications, particularly in the medical field. The facemask includes a body having a top edge and a bottom edge. The top and bottom edges cooperate with each other to define a periphery that contacts a wearer's face. Further, the top edge includes a treated zone containing a surface coating. The surface coating contains a non-metal malleable material that can be manipulated so as to retain a shape that fits contours of the wearer's face.

Insulated radiant barriers in apparel

Fabrics made for apparel, tents, sleeping bags and the like, in various composites, constructed such that a combination of substrate layers and insulation layers is configured to provide improved thermal insulation. The fabric composites are constructed to form a radiant barrier against heat loss via radiation and via conduction from a body.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FORMING ADHESIVE BONDS
20180361676 · 2018-12-20 ·

A printing process is used to print a pattern of hot melt adhesive onto a release paper. The adhesive pattern can be transferred from the release paper and used to bond two substrates together. The adhesive pattern preferably includes a repeating pattern of discrete features, with each feature having a minimum dimension in a range up to about 5 to 10 mm.

ELECTRICALLY HEATING SECTIONAL PANEL STRUCTURE FOR HEATED WEARABLES
20240260686 · 2024-08-08 · ·

A heating panel structure for heated wearables is constructed with a power leads connection section and a breathable heating wire section. The power leads connection section contains at least electrically shielded power leads connections to heating wires disposed in a pattern in the breathable heating wire section. The power leads connection section is formed of selected fabrics interconnected together to form an air-tight non-breathable fireproof and waterproof impermeable enclosure for the power leads connections. The breathable heating wire section is formed with a lamination of breathable fabric sheets, between which a pattern of the heating wire is secured, and which provides moisture wicking and shedding for the comfort of a wearer person.

Anti-Fog Ventilating Face Masks
20180343938 · 2018-12-06 ·

Ventilating face masks and methods and systems for face mask ventilation are disclosed. In some embodiments, a mask ventilation system can comprise an expandable base layer comprising side edges and a ventilation layer external to the expandable base layer comprising side edges. When the expandable base layer is in an expanded state, the side edges of the ventilation layer and the side edges of the expandable base layer can define one or more ventilation gaps between the expandable base layer and the ventilation layer for diverting at least a portion of the wearer's breath away from the surface, wherein the diversion can decrease the relative humidity on the surface.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL CHANNELED FABRIC STRUCTURE FOR GARMENTS AND/OR FOOTWEAR

A fabric structure includes a first layer, a second layer, and a spacing layer that interconnects the first layer and the second layer, wherein, the interconnecting of the first layer, second layer, and third layer forms a plurality of channels.

Article of Apparel

An article of apparel is formed that is effective to regulate the temperature of the wearer. In an embodiment, a textile substrate is obtained, and a thermal regulation composition is applied to a surface of the textile substrate at a first temperature and a first pressure to form a coated textile substrate. The coated textile substrate is dried to form a thermal regulation membrane disposed on the surface of the textile substrate, and the textile substrate with the thermal regulation membrane is compressed at a second pressure and a second temperature to position a portion of the thermal regulation membrane below the surface of the textile substrate. The textile substrate is incorporated into an article of apparel. The thermal regulation composition can include one or more system reactive components provided within a binder, where a system reactive components can include a cooling agent, a latent heat agent and/or a heat dissipation agent.

Vented garment

The technology described herein relates to breathable, vented, and insulating garments. More particularly, the technology described herein relates to garments with chambers to retain an insulating fill material. Openings along seams between the insulating chambers may achieve evaporative moisture or air transfer from the inside (proximal to the body of a wearer) of the garment to the outside environment. In an aspect, the openings along the seams are offset with interior openings, wherein the interior openings are connected to the exterior openings by a passage between garment layers.
