A coating quality detection method relates to the field of coating technologies. The detection method includes the following steps: detecting a coating region on a membrane to obtain millimeter wave data; obtaining edge zero lines on two sides of the coating region, and setting a primary zone of the coating region based on the edge zero lines on the two sides; calculating a weight average of the edge zones and a weight average of the center zone; calculating a first extreme difference a between the weight average of the edge zones and the weight average of the center zone; and/or calculating a weight extreme difference b of the primary zone. The detection method can ensure the coating quality of the surface of the electrode plate, and thus ensure the quality of the cell.

POLARIZATION INSPECTION DEVICE

METHOD FOR DETERMINING WEAR OF A CONNECTOR CONTACT USING ATOM TRANSFER RADICAL POLYMERIZATION

A method for examining wear of a connector contact using atom transfer radical polymerization. Metals in the connector contact are involved in atom transfer radical polymerization. In the method, polymers are formed via atom transfer radical polymerization. An average molecular weight and a polydispersity index of the polymers are determined. The exposure of underlying metal layers of the connector contact is determined based on the average molecular weight and atom transfer radical polymerization.

Method and apparatus for detecting degradation of resin film

A method for detecting degradation of resin film detects whether a resin coated rope having a circumferential portion coated with resin film has the resin film degraded. The method for detecting degradation of resin film includes: winding a wire on a circumferential portion of the resin coated rope; applying tension to the wire to compress the resin film in a radial direction of the resin coated rope; and comparing a first relationship with a second relationship to determine how the resin film is degraded, the first relationship indicating a relationship between the tension of the wire and how much amount the resin film has compressed, as obtained in the applying, the second relationship indicating a relationship between the tension of the wire and how much amount the resin film has compressed, as predetermined as a reference.

OPTICAL MEASUREMENT APPARATUS AND OPTICAL MEASUREMENT METHOD
20170102321 · 2017-04-13 · ·

A controller of an optical measurement apparatus causes, in a condition that a rotational speed of a rotary body is controlled so that the speed is a specified value, a light source to generate light having a constant intensity and apply the light to an irradiation region, and acquires first timing information based on a change with time of an intensity of reflected light or transmitted light that is output from a second detection unit receiving the reflected light or transmitted light of the applied light. The controller causes the light source to periodically generate pulsed light in accordance with the first timing information and apply the pulsed light to the irradiation region, and acquires second timing information based on a result which is output from the first detection unit whose measurement is periodically enabled in accordance with the first timing information.

A method for measuring a mechanical property of a coating on an optical fiber may include collecting Brillouin frequency shift data of the coating on the optical fiber, and determining the mechanical property of the coating by comparing the collected Brillouin frequency shift data with correlation data that may include a set of collected sample Brillouin frequency shift data and a set of collected sample mechanical property data of a plurality of sample materials. The sample materials may include a substantially identical sample composition including one or more curable polymers, be prepared with varying processing conditions, and have different mechanical property values. The coating on the optical fiber may include a material composition substantially identical to the sample materials composition. The set of collected sample Brillouin frequency shift data may be correlated with the set of collected sample mechanical property data to determine a quantitative relationship therebetween.
