TAGGANT INSPECTION SYSTEM
A system is provided for checking a presence and integrity of taggant applied to components of aerosol-generating articles during manufacture of the aerosol-generating articles on a manufacturing line, the system including: a first sensor configured to detect a taggant applied to a surface of a material web and to determine that the taggant has been applied to meet a predetermined continuity of application quality condition; and a second sensor located downstream of the first sensor on the manufacturing line, the second sensor configured to inspect portions of the material web after the material web has been cut into portions and to confirm at least one of a predetermined profile of the taggant and a predetermined concentration of the taggant. A method of checking a presence and integrity of taggant applied to components of aerosol-generating articles during manufacture of the articles on a manufacturing line is also provided.
Alternating patterns in cigarette wrapper, smoking article and method
A cigarette wrapper includes transversely extending banded regions applied by a printing technique, such as gravure printing. The banded regions may be applied in a one or more application of a printing composition that may be an aqueous starch solution also containing an anti-wrinkling agent such as propylene glycol, and calcium carbonate. The pattern of banded regions may be bands or stripes and the like along and/or around the tobacco rod. The banded regions may be solid or contain any number of cross-web and/or longitudinal discontinuities. The pattern may be configured so that when a smoking article is placed on a substrate, at least two longitudinal locations along the length of the tobacco rod have film-forming compound located only on sides of the smoking article not in contact with the substrate.
CANNABIS CIGARETTE ROLLING DEVICE
A cannabis cigarette rolling device includes a housing that has a wrapper inlet and a cigar hole and a cannabis inlet. A slicing unit is positioned within the housing to receive the cigar and slice the cigar to remove a tobacco wrapper of the cigar. The wrapper inlet receives the tobacco wrapper from the slicing unit. A grinding unit is positioned within the housing to receive cannabis flower and grind the cannabis flower into a granular material. A roller unit is pivotally mounted in the housing to receive the tobacco rolling sheet or the tobacco wrapper of the cigar and the granular material. The roller unit rolls the tobacco rolling sheet or the tobacco wrapper of the cigar around the granular material to produce a cannabis cigarette commonly referred to as a blunt. The roller unit subsequently ejects the blunt from the housing for the smoking enjoyment of a user.
Method for producing a bobbin including a material containing alkaloids
The present invention is related to a method for producing a bobbin the method comprising the steps of: providing a web (210) of a material containing alkaloids, wherein the web of a material containing alkaloids contains at least about 5 percent in dry weight basis of an aerosol-former; feeding the web (210) of a material containing alkaloids to an embossing device in a transport direction; embossing the web (210) of a material containing alkaloids to form an embossed web (220) of a material containing alkaloids; winding the embossed web (220) of a material containing alkaloids in a bobbin (200).
AN ARTICLE FOR USE IN AN AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An article for use in an aerosol provision system, an aerosol provision system including the article and a method for forming the article. In examples of the invention the article includes an aerosol generating material and a downstream portion located downstream of the aerosol generating material. The downstream portion includes separate first and second bodies of material, each of the first and second bodies of material being formed from respective first and second crimped sheet materials which are gathered into said bodies of material. The first body of material is downstream of the second body of material and the first body of material is provided with a tubular element disposed within the first body of material so as to be circumferentially surrounded by the first body of material. An aerosol modifying release component is provided within the second body of material.
Roll A'7
An assembly and a method of attaching a flavor to Cannabis or other smokable materials by having a fixed roller 6 and a rolling flavor tube 1 and back roller 3 combination which slides on the fixed roller 6, thereby dispensing the flavor.
GRAVURE PRINTED BANDED WRAPPER PAPER
A smoking article includes a tobacco rod includes a column of filler and a wrapper surrounding the column of filler. The wrapper includes a base web having parallel first and second side edges extending in a longitudinal direction and two ends extending in a circumferential direction. The base web includes at least one circumferentially extending banded region of fibrous crystalline cellulosic material thereon. The fibrous crystalline cellulosic material is in a condition of having been gravure printed on the base web as a fibrous crystalline cellulosic.
Aerosol-generating article and manufacturing method of the same
The present disclosure provides an aerosol-generating article including an aerosol generator including: an aerosol generator comprising an aerosol-generating material configure to vaporize into an aerosol; a tobacco filling part comprising an inner wrapper on which a plurality of folds are formed, and granules of a tobacco material attached to the plurality of folds such that a tobacco component is added to the aerosol passing through the tobacco filling part; and a thermally conductive wrapper wrapped around at least part of outer surfaces of the aerosol generator and the tobacco filling part, and configured to transmit heat to the aerosol-generating material and the tobacco material.
