APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR A HAT WITH SUN PROTECTION
Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method of use for a hat or head covering. More specifically, the present invention generally relates to an apparatus and method of use for a hat or head covering, which utilizes a material that reflects radiant heat to offer sun protection to a wearer of the apparatus. In one embodiment the apparatus is comprised of a main body component having an internal layer of material that reflects radiant heat. In another embodiment, the main body component is comprised of three layers: an outer layer, a middle layer made of a material that reflects radiant heat, and an inner layer. In embodiments, the apparatus is further comprised of a visor component also having an internal layer of material that reflects radiant heat. In yet other embodiments, the apparatus is further comprised of a brim component also having an internal layer of material that reflects radiant heat.
Personal head and neck cooling cap
A head and neck cooling cap that has an air bag sewn to the back of the cap which extends below the wearer's collar line. The air bag contains a battery operated fan that fills the bag with air. The air is distributed over the cap's adjustable band to the top of the head. Air is also vented through vent grommets or other openings in the bag at the wearer's neck. The fan is equipped with a variable speed motor which runs from a battery pack or USB power pack. The batteries are typically worn in a pocket or other location on the user including a V-clip or possible battery belt or battery holder. The batteries can also be mounted in the bottom of the air bag.
Head garment for privacy
A head garment for privacy and methods of using the same. The head garment has a frame including an elongated member, the frame including a loop portion that extends upward and forward from a rear portion that includes a tail, the loop portion including a rim, a veil having a rear portion that is connected to the rear portion of the frame and a front portion that is connected to the rim. The tension in the portion of the veil that spans between the connection to the rear portion of the frame and to the rim provides support for the rim, and the front portion of the veil extends beyond and drapes downward from the rim. The head garment is usable with a ventilation system and/or an electronic device and may be folded for stowing in a container.
AUXILIARY SUN SHADE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An auxiliary sun shade system and method includes a retaining and adjustment system adaptive to all forms of headgear and an adaptive shading system. The adaptive shading system is repositionable relative to the retaining and adjustment system and includes one or multiple sun shading panels. The retaining and adjustment system may include one or two bands and may have extendable arms that allow attachment to different parts of the headgear for improved adaptation and convenience.

Hat with protective barrier
A protective headwear apparatus having a head receiving portion sized to receive the head of the user when worn by the user and a forward extending brim portion attached to the head receiving portion. Further included is a flexible mesh shield having an upper and lower end portions, and a binding stitched to a bottom side of the brim portion with an outwardly facing opening receiving and holding therein the upper end portion of the shield to attach the shield to the brim portion with the shield extending outward out of the outward facing opening of the binding and then bending downward with the lower end portion located lower than the upper end portion of the shield when the apparatus is worn by the user. The shield is sized to wrap at least partially around the head of the user when the apparatus is worn by the user.

Sunshade System
A sunshade system for providing shade around a user's head includes a cap that may be worn thereby facilitating the cap to provide shade. A curtain is removably coupled to the cap and the curtain provides shade.
HOODED CLOTHING ARRANGEMENT AND CAP
Headwear for partially covering a hat is described wherein the hat has a crown and a headband region. The headwear comprises a piece of material of an irregular shape which has an aperture located closer to a side portion of the headwear material than other sides of the material. The aperture size is adjustable so as to permit the headwear material to be fixable to the hat about the headband region of the hat and to leave the crown of the hat uncovered by the material. The specification also discloses a hood for clothing having an adjustable sized aperture so as to permit the hood material to be fixable to the hat about the headband region of the hat and to leave the crown of the hat uncovered by the material while the hood is still part of the clothing such as a sweat shirt.
