Social distancing devices and methods
A device for indicating appropriate social distancing includes the ability to project light (in various forms and in a various ways) onto the ground in a manner visible by the user and those around them. A boundary of the projected light can be set to an acceptable social distance and can include different colors to indicated varying social distances for varying levels of trusted individuals. Proximity sensors set to appropriate distancing requirements, along with the varying levels of trust can be implemented into multiple devices being used in a group setting.

Head-mounted LED light with integrated, adjustable iris
A head-mountable light includes a user-adjustable spot size. Light from an LED travels through beam-forming optical elements supported at the front opening of a housing to form a spot of light at a working distance. An adjustable iris, situated between the LED and the beam forming optical elements, enables a user to adjust the iris and vary the size of the aperture and the spot size of the light at the working distance. The manually operated iris size control may comprise a rotatable ring on the exterior of the housing, and the plurality of beam-forming optical elements may comprise a singlet lens followed by a doublet lens. The light from the LED strikes the beam-dispersing element directly without an intervening condensing optical element (i.e., condensing lens). The assembly further includes a mechanical connector adapted to couple the housing to a pair of eyeglass frames, headband or other head-worn structure.

Device attached to hat visor
A lighting device includes a lighting unit with a snapping member formed on each of two ends thereof. A lighting portion is formed to the lighting unit and located between the two snapping members. A room defined in the lighting unit. A light emitting unit is located in the room and includes a light emitting member which is located corresponding to the lighting portion. A switch is connected to the underside of the lighting unit and electrically connected to the light emitting unit so as to control the operation of the light emitting member. Two clip members are respectively connected to the two snapping members of the lighting unit, or two connection portions are respectively formed on the two ends of the lighting unit. The clip members or the connection portions are attached to the visor to maintain the lighting device to the underside of the visor.

WEARABLE UV LIGHT DEVICES
A wearable ultraviolet (UV) light device may include one or more UV light-emitting devices, such as LEDs, and a housing that is attachable to a wearable article of clothing. When the housing is attached to the wearable article of clothing, the one or more UV light-emitting devices may be positioned and configured to emit light onto or in front of a face of a user disinfect air passing through the light in front of the face of the user. The wearable article of clothing may include hats, headbands, neckband, T-shirts, etc. The device may also include a processor that automatically activates the device in response to images captured by a camera, motion detection, sounds or voice commands, wireless commands from a smart phone, locations detected by a GPS device, and so forth.

Helmet brim mount with multi-axis pivot
An articulated brim mount for a helmet light that mounts on the brim of a hat or worker's helmet enables pivoting of the helmet light through angles of up to 210 degrees in a vertical plane and at least 360 degrees in a horizontal plane. The pivots are configured to provide controlled friction so that the angles of the light can be adjusted by hand without tools while retaining the position set by the user.
