ELECTRONIC HELMET AND METHOD THEREOF FOR CANCELLING NOISES
The present invention provides an electronic helmet for cancelling noises, which comprises a helmet including a plurality of microphones, a plurality of speakers and a first communication unit; and a mobile device including a second communication unit and a control unit. When the first communication unit in the helmet connects to the second communication unit in the mobile device, the control unit generates a plurality of control signals according to at least one sound or noise detected by the plurality of microphones. The mobile device uses the plurality of control signals to control the plurality of speakers outputting the at least one sound or anti-noise cancelling the noise. By the above electronic helmet, the present invention also provides a method integrating active noise control, hands-free communication, music listening, and voice navigation so as to achieve the proposes of cancelling the noises and improving the riding quality.
EARMUFF WITH ADJUSTABLE NOISE REDUCTION
An earmuff includes a first earmuff ring configured to sit against a user's head about a user's ear and a first earmuff cap including an opening and including a noise reduction member being movable relative to the earmuff ring between a first position entirely covering the opening and a second position at least partially exposing the opening, the earmuff cap having a first noise reduction rating in the first position and a second noise reduction rating in the second position that is different than the first noise reduction rating.
EAR MUFF ATTACHMENT HAVING DUAL AXIS OF ROTATION
The present description provides an ear muff attachment assembly. An exemplary ear muff attachment assembly (100) includes a housing (110), an ear muff (130), an arm (120) having first and second end regions, the first end region positioned within the housing and the second end region attached to the ear muff, and a spring (150) engaged to the housing and the first end region of the arm. The arm is rotatable about a first axis of rotation between a first position and an intermediate position, and about a second axis of rotation between the intermediate position and a second position.
BALLISTIC HELMET
A ballistic helmet comprising a ballistic shell, wherein within the thickness of the ballistic shell, or inside the ballistic shell, there is provided one or more circuit layers forming a circuit, which circuit comprises a power bus and a data bus, and wherein one or more power connections and one or more data connections are provided on the inside and/or on an edge of the ballistic shell for providing power and data to/from one or more electrical devices through the circuit.
Device for connecting lens and earmuff to safety helmet
A device for connecting a lens and an earmuff to a safety helmet is disclosed. The device includes a retaining frame, two pivot members and two connecting units. The retaining frame includes a pivot portion on either side thereof and an engaging block on the pivot portion. The pivot members are pivotally connected to the pivot portions, respectively. The pivot member has a slide portion having a first groove. The first pressing block is positioned in the first groove. The pivot member further includes a positioning strip having a plurality of second grooves. The connecting unit has a second slide groove. The positioning strip is inserted and slidable in the second slide groove. A second pressing block is disposed on an inner wall of the second slide groove. The second pressing block is pressed into any one of the second grooves in a multi-step manner.
Helmet assembly
A helmet assembly including a helmet shell having a face opening, first and second chin projections, an outer surface an inner surface, and a faceguard. The face opening is at least partially defined by a forehead edge. At least a first tunnel member is disposed on the inner surface adjacent the forehead edge. First and second receiving members are disposed on the inner surface on the first and second chin projections, respectively. The faceguard includes upper and lower sections. The upper section includes at least a first prong member extending upwardly therefrom that is removably received in a secured position in the first tunnel member. The lower section includes first and second wing members extending therefrom that are removably received in a secured position in the first and second receiving members, respectively.
Deflecting sound waves away from an ear of a wearer of a sports protective helmet
Systems, apparatus, and methods for reducing the decibel levels of sound originated external to a sports protective helmet may minimize deleterious effects to the hearing of the individual wearing the sports protective helmet. Through use of a sound-deflecting apparatus that is coupled to an interior surface or to an exterior surface of the sports protective helmet proximate an ear hole, decibel volumes may be constructively reduced by deflecting high frequency sound waves while allowing low frequency sound waves to reach the ear or in vicinity of the ear of the wearer of the helmet.
JOINT ASSEMBLY FOR A HELMET SYSTEM
Disclosed is a joint assembly for a helmet system. The joint assembly comprises an assembly base, an ear cup arm, a locking element, and a spring assembly. The ear cup arm is pivotably arranged to the assembly base. The locking element is configured to lock the ear cup arm in a first position relative to the assembly base. The spring assembly is configured to move the ear cup arm to a second position relative to the assembly base upon release of the locking element.
Hinged attachment of headgear to a helmet
A hinge mechanism for attaching ear accessories to a helmet allows an accessory to be attached at a point outside the helmet shell utilizing, for example, a slidable mounting rail, and to reach under the edge of the helmet shell so that the accessory is supported in contact with the wearer's head. The hinge mechanism is well suited for use in connection with military helmets that have a bulge or protrusion over the ear.
