A closed face motorcycle helmet includes a shell with an eyeport and a shield attached for hinged or pivoted motion between a closed or lowered position covering and sealing the eyeport and an open position or raised position displaced above the eyeport. A hinge plate is attached to the shell on each side and includes a moving pivot socket into which a hub of the shield is rotatably disposed for hinged movement and rearward movement of the shield between the raised and lowered positions.

A visor or a headband used for fastening to a cap using press studs. The visor includes as its main component a panel, which has an upper edge and two side edges. One press stud component is provided in each of the upper corner regions of the panel where the upper edge and the side edges meet. At least one stop component is provided at least partially below a path connecting the press stud components to one another.

A protective headgear system includes a support configured to engage the head of a user, a facial shield having an upper portion coupled to the support and a lower portion having a lower extremity, a flexible sheet coupled to the facial shield, a base carried by the support, a first microphone carried below the lower extremity of the facial shield and preferentially oriented away from the user, a second microphone carried by the base and preferentially oriented toward the user, a first audio generator capable of being sensed by at least one ear of the user, and a second audio generator including a loudspeaker carried by the base such that the loudspeaker is located below the lower extremity of the facial shield and is oriented for preferential sound energy delivery generally away from the user.

A structural arrangement for a motorcycle helmet the protective shell of which has a recessed cavity in the upper portion forming protrusions, each protrusion having a space for the rack, and an opening; a front cavity receives a rear fairing and has a second lowered cavit with an opening between the protective hull and the internal hull, on the edges of the visors is fastened a rack with teeth actuated by a small engine with gear strategically arranged in each of the outlets of the protrusions, in the protective hull and on one end of the rack, with actuation by buttons on the helmet or devices with electronic controls by means of radio signals, installed both on the helmet and on the motorcycle or even by remote control, and power is supplied by a battery.

Welding helmet

A welding helmet includes at least one helmet shell, fixing elements, a glare shield device and at least one protective screen spaced therefrom, and at least one display device for presenting data in the field of view of a welder, the at least one display device being arranged in the edge region of the field of view in the intermediate space between the glare shield device and the protective screen. The glare shield device has at least one cut-out in the area of the at least one display device. Because there is no glare shield device in the region of the display device, the view of the display device is not impeded by the glare shield device.

The visor is movable between a first position, in which the visor at least partially covers said open facial region and at least one second position, in which the visor lies on the shell substantially outside of the open facial region. The visor includes at least one first element of a detachable fastening element arranged on an edge of the visor. The shell includes at least two second elements of the detachable fastening element arranged on the shell such that each of the second elements of the detachable fastening element may hold the visor in the first and said at least one second position, respectively, by forming a releasable connection with the first element.
