Embodiments for a device locator application are described. In an embodiment, one or more inertial displacement measurement values may be received using the inertial sensor and received camera sensor data, a trajectory based on the one or more inertial displacement measurement values may be determined, a beacon signal from a target wireless device and determine at least one signal strength value from the beacon signal may be received, at least one proximity value to the target wireless device may be estimated based on the at least one signal strength value corresponding to at least one position along the trajectory, and an indicator of the at least one proximity value to the target wireless device may be presented along the trajectory in a user interface.
OBJECT LOCATION USING OFFSET
A method for locating an object of interest using offset. The object may be a mobile platform, or portion of same, associated with a vehicle, or a pavement segment or feature of or on a pavement segment on which the mobile platform is located. The vehicle includes first and second fixed points having a known offset from each other. An image sensor whose field of view includes the second fixed point and a portion of the mobile platform provides image data which is used with the known offset to calculate the precise location of the object of interest.

The present disclosure relates to a sidelink positioning method in a vehicle equipped with a distributed antenna, and a device therefor. A sidelink positioning method in a user equipment (UE) of a positioning vehicle equipped with a distributed antenna according to one aspect may comprise the steps of: performing a preliminary operation for sidelink positioning to select a nearby vehicle which is to participate in the positioning; exchanging, with the selected nearby vehicle, sidelink control information for the positioning; reselecting an antenna group, which is to participate in the positioning, on the basis of a signal received from the selected nearby vehicle; and performing the positioning using the reselected antenna group. The UE is capable of communicating with at least one of another UE, a UE related to an autonomous driving vehicle, a base station (BS) or a network.

A method and apparatus for determining a device pointed to by a UE is provided. The method includes determining UE pointing information based on spatial information of UWB devices; and determining a target non-UWB device pointed to by the UE based on the UE pointing information and spatial information of at least one non-UWB device. The disclosure determines a target non-UWB device pointed to by the UE in the UWB environment based on spatial perception capability of UWB and improve the user experience of UWB pointing operations.
