Weatherproof protective gear for cycling
A weatherproof protective gear for cycling is an apparatus which keeps the user refreshed, the upper body dry, and facilitates breathing in different weather conditions. The apparatus may include a full-head helmet, a face shield, a length-adjustable collar, a sleeveless torso shroud, a portable airflow system, and an exhaust snorkel. The full-head helmet protects the user's head while also facilitating airflow around the head from the portable airflow system. The face shield protects the user's face from the environment and facilitates vision in most weather conditions. The length-adjustable collar hermetically connects the full-head helmet to the sleeveless torso shroud to maintain a sealed environment. The sleeveless torso shroud protects the chest and the user's back from the environment and maintains the upper torso refreshed by the portable airflow system. Finally, the exhaust snorkel allows the user to breathe while wearing the present invention.
Personal Air Filtering Device with Automatic Control of Air Movement
A personal air filtering device comprising a rigid component comprising a transparent face shield, a fabric component, wherein the face shield and fabric combine to cover an entire head of a user and form a seal around the user's neck, an intake port with an inlet filter, an exhaust port with an exhaust filter, an air mover causing filtered air to enter the intake port from outside the device and exhaust air to exit the exhaust port, and a controller configured to adjust the rate at which the air mover moves air.
Personal Air Filtration Device with Reduced Noise from Air Mover
A device for filtering air for a user comprising a rigid component comprising, a transparent face shield that provides a space for air between an inside surface of the face shield and the user's face, an intake port, through which intake air enters the device, an exhaust port, through which exhaust air exits the device, a fabric component affixed to the rigid component that, combined with the rigid component, covers the user's head and seals around the user's neck, an intake filter that filters intake air passing through the intake port, an exhaust filter that filters exhaust air passing through the exhaust port, and an air mover assembly mounted on the rigid component that moves intake air through the intake port and exhaust air through the exhaust port, wherein the air mover assembly is mounted on the rigid component by vibration absorbing members, to thereby reduce transmission of the vibration of the air mover assembly to the rigid member, thereby reducing noise from the air mover assembly within the device.
Personal Air Filtering Device with Safety Features
A personal air filtering device for protecting a user from harm, the device comprising a rigid component comprising a transparent face shield, a fabric component, wherein the face shield and fabric combine to cover an entire head of a user and form a seal around the user's neck, an intake port with an inlet filter, an exhaust port with an exhaust filter, an air mover causing filtered air to enter the intake port and exhaust air to exit the exhaust port, one or more sensors, each configured to detect either an environmental condition or a condition of the user, and a processor configured to receive signals from the one or more sensors and execute a protective measure.
Pathogen Protection Device
A pathogen protection device includes an enclosure made of air-tight material configured to seal a user's head from the outside and allow the user to see through; and a filter is disposed on a wall of the enclosure to allow filtered air to enter and exit the enclosure.
Personal Air Filtration System with Smart App
A personal air filtration system comprising a rigid component, a flexible component, wherein the rigid component and the flexible component combine to cover at least a user's mouth and nostrils and form a seal therearound, an intake port with an inlet filter, an exhaust port, an air mover causing filtered air to enter the intake port and exhaust air to exit the exhaust port, and an app running on a user's smart device, wherein a smart app is configured to control and monitor operation of the system.
Modular Respiratory Protective System
A modular respiratory protection system comprises a frame defining an opening configured to expose a portion of a user's head. A blower is configured to draw air through an air filter and through a portion of the frame. A head protection element is releasably coupled to the frame and the head protection element is configured to cover the opening.
HELMET
A helmet includes a helmet body and a gas detection and purification device. The gas detection and purification device in includes a body, a purification module, a gas-guiding unit, a gas detection module, and a power module. The gas detection module calculates the gas detection data obtained by the gas detection module so as to control the gas-guiding unit to start or stop operation based on the gas detection data. When the gas-guiding unit is in operation, the gas-guiding unit guides the gas into the body and to pass through the purification module for being filtered and purified to become a purified gas, and the gas-guiding unit discharges the purified gas out of the body to the nose portion, or the mouth portion, or both the nose portion and the mouth portion of the wearer for providing the wearer with the purified gas to breath.
FULL FACE MASK WITH HEAD HARNESS RECEIVING CHANNEL
There is disclosed a full-face mask to be worn in combination with a protective helmet having a suspension harness. The mask comprises a receiving channel interfacing with the suspension harness to secure the connection between them while preventing the safety helmet to physically interfere with or hinder wearing the mask. Thus, the combination of protective headgears may be worn with improved comfort and decreased risks of breaking the seal provided by the full-face mask.
FLEXIBLE THERMOELECTRIC DEVICE
Flexible thermoelectric devices including a flexible heat management layer on the hot side thereof, and methods of making and using the same, are provided. The flexible heat management layer includes a water harvesting material configured to absorb water or moisture and dissipate heat by evaporation of the absorbed water or moisture. In some cases, the water harvesting material includes a mixture of a superabsorbent polymer (SAP) material and a metal-organic framework (MOF) material.
